[Theory] Sabo Will Avenge Ace

I used to think just like everyone else, that Luffy and Akainu were going to duke it out over Ace's death. However, it seems to me that having two immensely powerful FVs will give Luffy way too much credit. Blackbeard and Akainu both are forces to be reckoned with, so I don't see Luffy pounding down both of them.


That's where Sabo comes in. Sabo was getting stronger behind the scenes for a long time, and in front of us readers, experienced development of his skills by eating the MM. I'm thinking that this is a taste of what's to come; Sabo will continue getting more powerful as the story progresses and he will be the one to avenge Ace. He even has Ace's old powers now. Luffy may have seen Ace die, but Sabo is no less entitled to revenge for his brother's death.

But I think it would be beautiful story telling to have Sabo win with the Mera Mera that his brother lost with. I think that fight would go down as one of the best in the history of OP.

Sabo gets angry when ever thinking about Ace and that showed vs Fugitora and his fighting style and killer intent is perfect to fight Akainu. I could imagine Akainu provoking him....lol

Its hard for me to say. From a story standpoint, I guess that would work because Sabo needs a rival. But from a characters perspective it wouldn't really make sense since he wasn't there when Ace died, it was off screen, he died protecting Luffy, and right in front of Luffys eyes. And his DF won't be of any use either, since magma consumes fire, so he'll have to reach Admiral level haki by then...

But it would make sense. It would just be weird imo. I mean he hasn't even seen Akainu face to face, or any admiral for that matter.

maybe it would be garp vs akainu. maybe even bb vs akainu who knows. heck sabo might not even make it. fujitora might even kill him in this arc.

If Fujitora could have killed him he would have already be dead...just hope Fuji makes it off Dressrosa alive...no one wants to see the fights u suggested..everyone wants either Luffy or Sabo to handle him..because the fight holds alot of weight

Akainu is not a Haki beat..and I would rather see Luffy or Sabo beat Akainu...who wouldn't want to see Akainu vs BB but that doesn't add any value to the story bro. I want Akainu to be on the floor and Luffy's standing over him..ready to finish him off

That would be beautiful.
One brother saw him died and struggle to keep him alive. He was the baby brother and did what was impossible twice. Broke into and back out of hell for his brother. Then turned a hurricane of the world strongest into him being swirled around and being pushed to the front to save his brother even though he was just an ant in a storm. He even did save his brother just to lose him again.
The other brother couldn't come or protect either of them but he lets Luffy not have to deal with that ever again.
One brother started it. Ace
One brother brought it to a head. Luffy
And the last brother brings it to a close. Sabo

Not a bad way to end that story line.
