I would love to see Sabo with his mera mera almost mastered fighting Marco. It would basically be a battle between a dragon and a pheonix in a way since sabos moves are dragon based.

To be honest I know everyone is entitled to their own opinions but I am actually amazed that some people pick Sabo over Marco.
Now I am Simply too lazy to tpe everything here so let me pick up a discussion I had on a Marco Vs. Kizaru video on YT (I am AstroCloud)

The true power of Marco's DF lies in his defense, lets keep in mind the fact that he is Zoan, Not logia, when he rushed to Kizaru while tanking the beams it was his body being ripped to pieces but regenerating at Godlike speeds, without taking his powers in any way I can't see how anyone could kill him.
Basically Marco is the unbreakable shield, as for his offensive powers I can only guess he got his haki and his brutal zoan strength boost. so in my opinion for example if Akainu and Marco fought in the long run Marco would come out on top despite of Akainu busting the entire battle area.
Meh, only my thoughts tho.

The thing haki does not take your ability away, it only lets you hit the real body wich yes it's effective, the thing is haki is a boost no matter what, and zoans don't posess elemental abilities, they have a true body, so haki is not a requirement to harm them, Marco is also nothing special, he has a real solid body, but his DF lets him HEAL his original body, he is no logia, he is just a bird in flames, it seems like a logia but he isn't, and that is what makes him so unique, the only one who could truly mess up marco is Blackbeard's black hole, and that'd only work if he never let go, because as we saw in marineford war when Marco got the kairoseki chains off all wounds that he had from kizaru completely disappeared.

Yeah but a bit more extreme XD, so far he has shown to be able to regenerate to the point to mistaken as Logia, the video above is a friggin good exaple why.
Edit: You can harm Marco with or without haki, haki is necesary only with Logias and certain Paramecia, aside from that haki is a power-boosting ability Like Bankai or Sage mode, Marco will get messed up if you harm him in any way, but he won't be truly affected since, again, his DF is some OP $hit.

Sea stone cuffs is probably the only way you prevent him from regenerating.

So then what about the wounds from Garp? well, more than wound I'd call it dirt on his face, on Mf arc he got real wound by kizaru when he had the kairoseki chains on, but after he got them off his Wounds healed and he moved like they never ever happened.
Marco only lacks in destructive power and AOE abilities, but he got a strong enought haki to hit Aldimrant level Logias meaning he definetly could pierce Sabo's intense armament haki with some pressure.
To be honest I don't expect Marco to ever be mountain buster level but at leas we know: He defiently can beat most figthers out there, and Sabo despite being a beast, is no exeption.
