Oda didn't introduce these two (major) characters in the arc just to have one lose. The fight will be inconclusive, he doesn't want us to be fully able to gauge the strength of post time skip admirals or the Rev army just yet

I agree, but as other have stated he wont lose or win, becuase it is very much much too early to have either of them lose to anyone really. We havent even seen a yonko since b4 the time skip and, We saw a fragment of big maam, no kaido, no shanks and no teach.
