You can't call the SO6P weak when we haven't seen what he can do, we heard of what he did but we don't know how he fights. For all we know the Sage could have all power and no brains (fighting wise). look at shikamaru, he's not that strong but he can beat kage level ninjas using his brain, the sage could be the opposite of this. And we don't know what they ment by "creating all ninjutsus", it could be that he taught others how to use the chakra elements with other jutsus and was called the creator because he taught others how to do it. The Sage didnt have every jutsus because many ninjas created there own and it was passed down through the generations.

on topic: i think people are overthinking it, because i dont see it as him saying so6p is weak, i think he's only saying that back then theyre werent people who stood a chance to do the things he did, to even compare to him, but now there are (atleast thats what im gathering from it) ..i mean madara makes meteors fall from the sky lol
thats just as far as defeating 10 tails would go though, i dont think theres someone who could 1v1 so6p, but it seems like its being implied no combination of ninja can beat 10 tails but i think its possible....
