i kinda agree i doubt he was all amighty when he had his fight with the 10 tails since its after he seals him that he gets the crazy chakra that he used from then on to b god like so i do think madara or nagato could have taken the 10 tails it may b powerful but all the tails r dumb animals that spam the tailed bomb attack

Nagato himself said what he can do is nothing compared to the sage of six paths.

RS died becuase we was extremelly respectful of natural world. Do you honestly think a guy that had a version of Izanagi (which is basically a life cheater) that puts Tobi to shame wouldnt be able to remain alive if he wanted to?

The same way he could have forced peace, but he didnt wanted to. RS was only limited by himself.

I agree with OP though , we havent seen SO6P 's powers and i believe his powers to be similar to that of Madara/Nagato , but he has far more greater ninustu. Being the founder of all the jutsu doesnt make him the strongest , he is just the first sage and being the first bearer of the rinnegan makes everybody feel he is the god or whatevah they call him , which i believe is wrong ( Only my opinion )

u havent read everyone's posts, have u? there r many including me who have gave reasons why so6p would be insanely powerful even without the bijuu.

No one in all the manga still have enough power to defeat the ten tails except the pre-jinchuriki so6p.

To be fair, it has been shown that jinchuurikis retain chakra after extraction, look at the edo jins. I can accept prior to getting Juubi RS was beatable, the manga itself has hinted that.

However saying he can be beaten post Juubi is......

My point is to those that say "lol RS wasnt so strong becuase he died", I was making the point that he died becuase he didnt used his power to extend his life beyond what would be natural, trusting in the next generation, not becuase he couldnt avoid death. If Orochimaru can avoid death, then sure RS can.

anyway, my reasoning's r -

Juubi=9 Tails + 8 Tails + 6Tails + ....+ 1 Tails + rinnegan+ sharingan+.....
kyuubi is Just 9 Tails .
even if u take him out of juubi,
Juubi=8 Tails + 6Tails + ....+ 1 Tails + rinnegan+ sharingan+.....
Lets make it simple, take out a Kyuubi from Juubi and let it Fight The current
kyuubi. It's a draw, they both dies.
But juubi still have an insane amount of chakra left in side of him.
so clearly,there is a huge power gap between Juubi's and any other biju's power.
How much?Comparing to kyuubi,
IMO, It has close to at least 7 times more chakra.
Also has rinnegan and sharingan fused as an eye.
so it's physically 7 times and eye wise 10 times more powerful than kyuubi(we all know what sharingan and rinnegan can do, he had it fused).
It's a 7x10=70, but i would say at least 25 times more powerful than kyuubi.

And so6p didn't had a rinnegan before fighting Juubi. U lack proper info.It's juubi's power that gave so6p the rinnegan. It's pretty easy to understand how powerful the juubi was, and how powerful u have to be to defeat it.

Sage didnt only have rinnigan he also had spiritual energy, the same thing the senju had. Madara would get PWNED by the SO6P's. Besides Madara will lose eventually.

It will still make no sense defeating something like that with mere rinnegan.
I've read it some where. can't remember exactly where. May be when Tobi revealed himself as madara before Naruto and had a chat with him after nagato's death.

Well, it isn't stated anywhere in manga that he had rinnegan before becoming juubi jinchuriki, is there?so i can also say my point stands valid until manga says otherwise in future. LOL
i think the sage having Juubi inside of him and thus achieved rinnegan,it makes more sense. Other wise, if sage had rinnegan before becoming jinchuriki,there had to be some other people with rinnegan like the sage.where r they?why aren't they mentioned in shinobi history?what happened to their descendent?
Also,if sage had the rinnegan before becoming jinchuriki, and also poweful enough to defeat that monster, he must've had deva path. Why didn't he just use chibaku tensei to seal juubi in the moon? why go through all the trouble of sealing in his own body making so many consequences? It's likely sage obtain rinnegan through becoming a jinchuriki.
