[Discussion] Ryuuken=Severus Snape of the series?

Before you flame me and call me insane, if you think about it they do sort of have similar personalities and similar situations.

-Ryuuken cared about Masaki, similar to how Snape cared about Lily
-James and Isshin share that similar trait of comedic foolishness
-Both got the girl to fall for them
-Both Ryuken and Snape seeked help to protect Masaki and Lily (Urahara and Dumbledore xD)
-I guess the difference is is that Ryuuken is a pure blood (as we know of) and Katagiri was a half blood. But these references to half blood and pure blood do remind me of Harry potter a lot

I have a feeling Ryuuken will die at the hands of the Vandenreich and tell Uryu something in common with his mother and tell him that he loves him, since I do not see Uryu dying in this arc.

Yeah, perhaps he saves a shinigami from Ishida if he is indeed bad to show him that hes heading down the wrong path.

Well it's fact he held some feelings for Masaki however they where unrequited.

In an aspect he does have similar qualities to Masaki but I wouldn't call him the snape of Bleach. There characters themselves are just to different.

Kinda true but I do see ryuken like sacrificing himself or something to protect uryuu or maybe even ichigo
