Why is Russia banning imports? I'm at work and C.N.N doesn't have volume here, so I don't know what's happened.
Also, I've been seeing things about Russia and the USA going at it again... WHY!? >_> I wish I could put Earth in Infinite Tsukuyomi, and put a stop to all this constant fighting. I think people who want to fight wars, should have a death battle island, where they can't harm innocent people.
Russia instigated a rebellion within Ukraine because Putin wanted control over the natural gas shale in Ukraine to be able to put pressure on Europe and to further secure the BRIC (a currency created between Brazil, Russia, India, and China). It will ultimately end as any fiat currency system does - but it is currently under better management than the U.S. dollar (which is being abused by the Federal Reserve).
Then, after a few months of fighting, in an effort to draw more global attention to the conflict, Ukraine ordered an airliner into hostile airspace and to lower altitude. Then, someone shot it down (most likely Ukraine). Of course - they have a network of facebook/twitter accounts that their administration uses for disinformation purposes. Self-proclaimed leadership within the Russian rebels claimed to have shot down a cargo transport before deleting the comment.
Of course, U.S. intel sources know this - but politicians couldn't help but begin beating the war drums (particularly Obama, because a problem on the other side of the world keeps the media from having to cover his scandals with any kind of detail). Then they began passing silly 'sanctions' against individuals close to Putin.
In response - Putin levied sanctions against us because our president is being a douche and we have a few too many people in congress who have been there since the Cold War and miss the 'old days.'
I might just move to Russia and become a farmer, though. Maybe with a high-tech hydroponics setup.
Anyway - there will always be people who realize that if you have something they want, they can simply kill you for it. This goes for nations, as well. There will always be those who realize that if they have the power to obtain something and decide to use their power to obtain it.
A "tournament" or "island of death" won't solve anything.
On a side note, a monkey apparently took a selfie..... Never-mind, I'm suddenly okay with war. Humans think monkeys taking selfies is relevant news, it's time to end our species.

There will always be those who wish to tell you what to do, how to live, and that what you do must go to them.
When they obtain power, war is necessary for you to remain independent and to maintain freedom. Not all war is for this purpose - and even if it is, you don't fight against demons - you fight against people deluded into believing the message of becoming a slave.
It's something you have to make peace with.
