its not having the chakra, its more like having longevity. Why do you think obito was provoking naruto to join forces with him. Uzamaki can revive a whole village (pein) without dying, so even if you are uchiha+senju dna with the rinnegan. You still die, because that is the tool for such technique. Basiclly use naruto like they did nagato

i think he wanted to rush it due to something on sasuke..i think its also something to do with time and i say that because if it was really tobi behind the mask all this time he waited all these years....if he wanted to get somebody like naruto he could have went to get him instead of sending itachi and kisame to the leaf one time...even tho that thought its a bit abstract.....but i hope u see where im going

I think Obito never wanted an evil sidekick to share the glory with. He wanted to wear the mask and pretend to be Madara. Sasuke didn't mean too much to his plans since he wanted to give him to Kabuto.

When NAGATO used rinne Rebirth to revive the people he killed in Konoha , Obito was very upset for the reason that he wanted Nagato to use it to reive MADARA

Then after that Obito was planning on Sasuke to sync with GEDO MAZO.... And we all know that the only way for SASUKE to sync with GEDO MAZO is to get the RINNEGAN [ have hashirama,s dna ]

Anyway, knowing that OBITO wanted SASUKE to sync with GEDO MAZO is simply showing us that he was probably planning on manipulating SASUKE into reviving MADARA or maybe changing the plan and become the host of the jubi himself..

Maybe Obito has slipped some HASHIRAMA DNA into SASUKE during the transplant of itachi,s eye ? maybe we really get to see a RINNEGAN SASUKE AFTER ALL?

Bro like you said obito was planning to sycn sasuke with MAZO but seeing madara's coffin he rushed into MEP(moon eye plan) yes this was true .i think he was trying to manipulate sasuke into reviving madara as well but seeing that madara can be revived as an edo he felt he has no deals with asauke any more so he imediately started the MEP and also he rushed it cause he wanted to show madara that the plan is has already been put to play. had it been he slowed,i think edo madara would have start asking questions like, what you has been doing all this years that you hasn't starated the plan yet.
CONCLUSION; obito rushed into the MEP cause madara was revived earlier than obito expected P.S kabuto would suspect obito is up to something if obito should other him not to revive him yet so his only obtion was to rush the plan before kabuto could revive madara(as an edo)
NOTE;this is just my analyses or what i thought i m not saying its a fact.

nice man. but i doubt that he would plant hashirama's dna into sasuke for him to awaken rinnegan. I mean the rinnegan was supposed to be a doujutsu that appears when poeple need help and when the world is in chaos. Now, not only madara has it but also many edo zombies. If sasuke gets it then that would be destroying the value of the legendary dojutsu.

No. It was obvious that he wanted to awaken madara because Obito was pissed when Nagato used it on konoha. As for using sasuke as a pawn, he already promised kabuto that he'll let him have sasuke after the battle. I dont think Obito is that much of a fool to give sasuke any more insane powerups.

i think obito quickly went and got the rinnegan because he was afraid of madara so he needed a power boost.i think obito wants infinite tsukuyomi and world domination and reality creation just for himself.that`s why he was rushing.he wanted to end it all before madara intervened.i definitely see obito betraying madara somehow
