Rush is it's own realm of existence.

I'm a go the cliche route and go with "Tom Sawyer", it's just it's own dimension of space.

Styx is meh for me.

Styx has a couple good songs. Come Sail Away, Grand Illusion, and Renegade.

Rush has some to. Tom Sawyer, Free Will, and some others.

Styx - Blue Collar Man, Too much time on my hands, Renegade and a few more.
Rush - Tom Sawyer and a few songs I can't name.

They sound alike? Maybe both lead vocalists are tenors and...I can't think of anything else. Rush is musically and lyrically way more sophisticated than Styx.
