I heard people say Rukia's zanpakuto is temperature based unlike Toshiro's which just freezes anything along with its abilities. With that in mind since Yamomoto's bankai is likely well above absolute zero, I doubt Rukia can stop his flames. Yamaji was strong enough for Toshiro to be unable to use his shikai even though Yama activated his bankai when he was very far away from him. I also believe Bankai Yamomoto is stronger than Toshiro. While Toshiro's matured bankai can negate abilities/completely freeze enemies, Gerard could still break out of his technique.

Is Yama starting in bankai? A strike from Toshiro's matured powers can bring him down. I think his shikai isn't going to be enough to put down the two. Also does Yama have both arms. Maybe he can do what Kenpachi and increase the power of his strike with 2 arms.

In shikai i don't think Yama can beat them but in bankai he has this pretty sure. but we havent seen all the hax of Rukias bankai yet we only saw what it can do it was released not its actual fighting abilities. That said rukia in shikai was able to go absolute zero meaning the efficiency with which she can take heat away from something is pretty great and might be able to at least take the edge off of yamas defense and long range attacks.

However, Yama has more reiatsu than both of them combined so I think his heating ability will still outpace their cooling capabilities, so Yama wins. The only chance they have is if rukia can negate Yamas flame defense enough to allow Toshiros new bankai to come into contact with yama and freeze him. But i dont think they can. It would be entertaining though.

Rukia's abilities > Toshiro's. She actually has a chance at offsetting Yamamoto's flames to an extent, Toshiro would get fodderized if he tried.

Logically, Rukia should beat Yamamoto, because she can freeze stuff to Absolute Zero. That's some serious breaking of the laws of thermodynamics.. Absolute Zero means she is removing energy from the system, and so she should be able to remove all the energy in Yamamoto's flames.

Yamamoto ignores Logic, and punches her. Rukia dies.

Except it really depends if Rukia can take away energy fascompound at 500 C and if they are in the same state they will reach an equilibrium at some temperature between the two depending on Cp values and what not. Same idea applies is that if an absolute 0 touches yamas flame they heat up to an equilibrium so it really becomes who takes away/puts in energy faster. Tikis is essentially removing energy faster than the environment puts it in, doesn't mean Yama isn't faster. But she does do it quickly because her bankai flash froze everything around her.
