[Discussion] Ruining the chapter

Ever since last weeks reveal of Sasuke's PS I have been looking forward to this chapter and the beastly Naruto/ Sasuke combination did not disappoint, but there were two major flaws.

1st: Overhyping

The dreaded Retcon sword. If I am not mistaken didnt the Juubi precede the So6P. The Juubi is the progenitor the existence from which all life originated. So the So6P could not have created the world. Unless they mean the original humans were aliens and the So6P created Earth or that the sage used the sword to craft their current reality. And Kishi summoned this massive retcon sword just to hype up Naruto and Sasuke's friendship attack.
THAT'S CHEAP BRO!!

2nd: Unnecessary additions

WHY THE HECK WAS THIS NECESSARY??!! PLEASE IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME WHY NARUTO COULDN'T USE CLONES INSTEAD OF FLINGING HIS FRIENDS AT THE ALL ERASING WALL PLEASE TELL ME!! I get this was meant to allow Naruto's friends time to shine and to push the whole friendship deal, but DUDE??!! Seeing that the people Naruto selected neither had the knowledge nor the ability to maintain such large rasengans or rasengans period for that matter, Naruto could have literally picked any random fodder to do this.

I don't have anything against K11 contributing to the current state of affairs, but it would have been much palatable to see K11 contributing in a way that showcases their individual skills rather than have them accomplish that only serves to hype up Naruto.:vincent::vincent::vincent:

Anyway, seeing the Kyuubi/ Susanoo was more than enough to make me like this chapter [ONLY THAT]. The rest could have been handled a lot better.

So its Itachi's fault that this friendship thing is getting pushed down our throats. Instead of having them take part in a fight that they deliver no contribution to once so ever. It would have been much better to have Naruto's friends relating that Naruto is fighting to protect us and has entrusted the Juubi trees destruction to the SA. It shows their trust in each other, their bond with Naruto, and displays their unique abilities at the same time. SEE EASY

Tenten in the robe was hot, but in this chapter her role can be summed up to just being a stand in for a shdow clone

So its Itachi's fault that this friendship thing is getting pushed down our throats. Instead of having them take part in a fight that they deliver no contribution to once so ever. It would have been much better to have Naruto's friends relating that Naruto is fighting to protect us and has entrusted the Juubi trees destruction to the SA. It shows their trust in each other their bond with Naruto, and displays their unique abilities at the same time. SEE EASY

No this was to show that Naruto has matured more because he wanted to do everything himself before.. Itachi's words of wisdom woke up Naruto and showed him that his friends are the ones who got him to where he is and that he should rely on them as well. This foreshadowed that it was going to happen somehow in the future and it did here in this chapter.. No contribution? Right that's why Ino mind controlled Obito redirecting the Juubi TBB away that would've finished off Naruto, Kakashi, Gai and Killer Bee off. When Neji and Hinata put their lives on the line for Naruto with Neji taking the otherwise fatal blow that could've hit Naruto. Sakura healing Naruto and the alliance.. even Lee kicked Madara in half well you get my point.

@bold that would just show that naruto hadn't matured and learned from what Itachi told him :| With what naruto and the SA did they displayed trust so I don't see what your point is Besides there's an alliance already working on to destroy the tree.. if we went your path the K11 would again be ignored.. this was the good time to show that the foreshadowing from what Itachi said to naruto would become true.

If i am not mistaken itachi said comrades are their to accomplish what you can't so you can focus and don't miss out on what you can do. Its a horrible paraphrase I know, but I dont think there is any merrit in having them do a job you can do better on your own.

But he also said that Naruto shouldn't do everything by himself and that was the whole point of this.. instead of using clone he relied on his friends. Plain and simple. I understand that you think that this wasn't a good chapter and I won't change that as it's your opinion but I will correct you on things like this.

1st. He is partnered with Sasuke. How is he alone?
2nd. Having them use Naruto's jutsu, using Naruto's power, to execute Naruto's plan is a very poor way to express the point of Naruto relying on his comrades is pathetic. If Kishi wanted to drive this point home he should have had Naruto acknowledge that he NEEDED their help rather than just deciding to use them at a whim to do a clone's job.

Well if we were to talk about this then yeah I can agree for the most part I believe but for everything before I was just trying to explain why it made sense Lol I don't believe it's all Kishi though there are people who rush him.. (forgot who) I'll see if I can find that thread.

I believe I heard Kishi got a new editor recently. This could be the reason why his chapter quality has dropped lately. If he is being rushed so much they should just let him break for a week or two to get ahead on his manga. I would much rather wait for chapters of higher quality than get subpar chapters weekly.

Really? Didn't know that.. probably an explanation as to why this is happening but it also probbaly has to do with him being rushed by someone in charge of him I guess.. it's not letting fully do what he wants which sucks. Too bad people are blaming it all on Kish when there can be other factors.. if Kishi was given that time I'm sure he'd improve his chapters too bad it probably won't happen though.
