No he didn't, Madara cast the IT and comes down to get serious and solo the 2. Then the next thing you know is BZ saves them via his manoeuvre then fodderuya proceeds to get beaten.

I'm talking about what happened before that. If he could have evaded sasuke's attack he would've did it. But instead he went on to compliment his speed which means it was something he couldnt dodge just like what happened with gai.
