I don't understand what you mean. Sasuke didn't score a direct hit on Naruto. It's pretty obvious the TSB blocked the Chidori, though Naruto was still affected by the force of the technique. Not only that, Sasuke is capable of using Chidori as means to paralyze/weaken his opponent, like here , so this hardly proves RSM tanked it...

Because Sasuke used a diversion with his Katon. Without that, he reacts to it.
Naruto can't react to it either way. He never has.

I don't think it was the TSB. They were behind him and Naruto was thrown with enough force to land like people always do when they're hit.
I agree that Chidori doesn't always pierce and it sometimes just paralyzes though. It wouldn't make sense for Senjutsu Chidori not being able to pierce Madara when a regular Chidori sword could cut him in half.

What? Sasuke was able to at least touch him, but not fully pierce him. Don't know why you are still mulling this over.
A lot of people in the thread I was debating in had confusion on both sides over the subject. He hit Naruto, and Naruto tanked it.

Actually he can. It is the same concept as Kaguya's S/T. He was able to dodge it efficiently, but when Kaguya sent one attack from behind, she simulatenously sent an attack from in-front. Ultimately killing the Naruto clone.

Same concept here. Sasuke used a fireball jutsu to distract Naruto, in turn after he blocked it, not a second later Sasuke teleported behind him to strike him with Chidori. Even with that limited time for the distraction, he was able to at least perform some type of dodge or block. Meaning that Naruto can react to the attack incoming, but obviously he cannot react to the teleportation.

Sasuke using regular chidori instead of his black yin enhanced one was due to plot..... plot protected Naruto from this
chakra infusion with a weapon is more deadly. Hence why the sword must be nerfed.
Raikiri has no problems with splitting Kaguyas arm but Chidori cant harm Naruto at all.. yet some people say Sasukes chakra would be more powerful than Kakashis Lol
Nope. Chidori was shown to be more effective than Chidori Katana when Sasuke tried to slash Ay and failed, but ended up piercing him. So he wouldn't have cut through Naruto.

That's mainly because both Naruto and Juubi Jins in general have different forms of tanking prowess. Kaguya and JJ Madara can actually get hurt, but regenerate over the period of time. Naruto, much like in his KCM/BM/RSM forms, when he gets damaged, nothing really affects his body. Detailing that you would need a much stronger attack to eradicate him all together. A chidori, or a chidori variant is not providing enough strength to cut a RSM Naruto down. If you think so, I would advise to read back to the War Arc and look at the earliest of KCM tanking feats Lol

I don't even see the point of this thread. Naruto didn't react properly. The orbs were launched forward. His chidori wasn't canceled by the orbs, which is why Naruto got smacked down onto the lake below.

If anything, this puts Naruto in a poor spot for his so-called reaction feats. Pedestrian at best.
This had already happened before when Naruto was fighting Kaguya.

He reacted to her Amenominaka easily, but when she decided to distract him with more than one technique, it became the downfall of him completely. The same is applied here. If Sasuke's attack incoming after Amenotejikara was fast enough to strike Naruto directly, Kishimoto would not have had drawn the distraction in the first place. The fact that Sasuke needed to use the Great Fireball jutsu setup to then play a part in the Blitz itself, put's Naruto's reaction time at an even better advantage. If it happened like this: Amenotejikara > Naruto senses > Chidori creation > Naruto dodges similar to how Madara did with FTG > Naruto counters, stalemating the attack or continues to pressure Sasuke.

Naruto did not use the TSB to tank against the technique. Sasuke hit him.

Sasuke Chidori did not work the way Sasuke had intend it to work due to Naruto’s current power up,so instead of piercing His skin as Sasuke originally intended Naruto was send crashing.

Except the fact that he has by feats. Naruto has better tanking feats in this manga by far compared to anyone, and that is included in his Kyuubi chakra forms and Avatar too. When you can show me a scan of Naruto actually getting hurt in KCM/BM/RSM to the point of actually losing a limb or two, then we can talk about it.

He knew she would come after him next. He had already failed to react before to the same tech, yet when he saw Sasuke get pulled in he knew he was next. Still, it's not like it's the same tech. Sasuke's is more closely related to the dimension swap.

Naruto would have been at a bigger disadvantage if Sasuke had done it without the fireball. He wouldn't have been able to sense it because he wasn't in SM and even if he magically did he would have to activate RSM and then turn around, whereas all he had to do in the manga is sense it and turn around.

We are talking about the feats of him actually fighting against it.

Bigger disadvantage? No, no. The disadvantage on Naruto happened when Sasuke used his fireball jutsu. How does using a technique adequate to Naruto's sensing prowess working, or not working? Does that make sense to you?

From memory in KCM only from the early stages of the War Arc, he tanked a Raikage Blow at his (was it V1 or V2?) strike that Sasuke blocked against with his Ribcakge. Naruto also tanked Lava from the Yonbi Jinchuriki that touched his KCM chakra alone. The feats coninued throughout the war arc, and I would actually have to sit down and find them all. RSM > BM > KCM. Not even going to add the senjutsu applied on the last two forms though.

rsm is indeed stronger than bm and kcm but it never applied he's more durable than any other juubi jin. im not trying to underrate naruto or anything but attacks than can fattally wound kaguya, madara, obito would do the same to naruto

I understand what you are saying, and you are correct for the most part. But you see there is a big difference to why Naruto is not comparable to the likes of Kaguya, and/or JJ Madara. Because Naruto's body has a chakra layer of coating protecting him, and Kaguya/JJ Madara's are strange bodies with regenerative properties.

. Look back to how Naruto blocked swords coming at his body, and he deflected it with his hands only. The fact that Kaguya can actually spill blood (Naruto removing her arm - Sasuke slashing her with PS Sword - Sakura smashing her face), already proves that their bodies are not durable to the RSM Naruto evel, but are regenerative.

Naruto failed to react to Kaguya coming up behind him, the reason he reacted that time was because he was expecting it. That's what I was talking about, but it's not the same anyway.

What? That's not even a large disadvantage at all. By the time Sasuke used his S/T Naruto had already finished blocking the Fireball and all he had to do was turn around. The only way it could've been a distraction is if it was able to take away Naruto's attention, but Naruto could sense it anyway. Naruto would have had to activate RSM/SM to even be able to sense Sasuke and he didn't have it on in the beginning.

No no. Did Kaguya use it against Naruto? No she used it to teleport Sasuke, the way sensing works is not a feature that happens when you are expecting it. It is universal in the sense of having knowledge all around constantly while it is activated.

Madara dodged FTG the same way RSM would have dodged Amen without the fireball distraction, yet Madara is using a lower level of sensing prowess compared to Naruto at that point in time.

Was he expecting that too?

Yes it is because the same happened during the Kaguya fight. She had sent a portal behind him, he dodged, but simulatenously she sent an attack at his frontal. He could not multitask with his sensing. Giving it the weakness in why Kishimoto also supported the fact that it was needed to strike Naruto. You need to look back on the chapters as it happened:

The attack happened as Naruto was deflecting the fireball jutsu. That was clearly shown on the right side of Naruto's body which extended his chakra cloak (you can see it flickering off the panel) because it just finished extending to stalemate the fire jutsu and had not reached Naruto yet.
