[Suggestion] RPG Boss fight

RPG Boss fight​

Hey everyone!

I don't know if this was suggested before,but I was thinking that this feature would boost up RP experience for everyone on this forum:

So I was picturing it like this:

A thread would be posted every month(like a contest/competition,but in RPG section),with a picture and description/characteristics of some crazy badass monster(or maybe a bijuu if you guys preffer,so in every next boss fight it would be a bijuu with higher tail number) which everyone with a bio could fight.

This monster would have some crazy health level (aprox. It would take a month or less to take it down)
Every user could make one attack per day (strongest attack that you have on your bio or which ever you like).

When a player attacks/posts, player should also put in which attack from his bio he used and how much health does the boss have after the attack.

This process would go on,untill this monster/boss doesn't have any healt points left.

And after the defeat, awards (medal) would be given to the one who killed the monster/ the one who reduced monsters health points to zero (Medal name: Slayer/Hero ) ,and one medal to the player with the highest damage score (all of his damage points combined in the thread) (Medal name: Berserker)


I only need one mod or an admin who likes the idea to support me,and I would come up with a cool thread design,little details,rules etc..

This reminds me of SAO for some reason. But I think it's a pretty good idea, except i don't RP. Good idea nonetheless.

Sounds like a nice idea, although I'm still slightly confused on how it would be implemented.

How often can people with higher reps can attack
Can people will lower rep attack more frequently
Will multi posting be a problem, if no one attacks afterwards

I figured everything out don't worry,but I didn't put all the details in this thread,because a bigger text would just repel most of the users who would enter this thread

The multi-posting thing would be solved I think,with a huge warning/rule at the begining of the thread,that every kind of multi-posting or any post besides of purpose of RPG-ing is highly punishable (ban and such) , and It would help that only members that have S-Jounin rank and 5-bar rep and above could participate (those players are more responcible and have a bigger reputation and they woudn't deminish or risk their reputation by bashin a thread like that

Something like this has already been suggested several times before and I think the last time wasn't even that long ago and at one point there was even something like a NW Events subsection in the NW specifically for things like these. However that was removed because it just didn't work. The things posted in that subsection alone were far more complicated than the entire RP combined and it requires far too much work.

Personally I never liked things like this either as they feel fake. Yes it's probably very ironic and paradoxical to call it fake while you are RPing, however most RP is still done spontaneous. Believe it or not we give a lot of freedom to the RPers as we only provide the overall structure, context and rules of conduct, how people RP within that is up to them. However events like these require us to monitor everything from beginning to end. Most of it is predetermined, it's not real. It would add yet another level of RP, while we already have the non-Naruto RP, regular RP and the NW. Such events would add an additional level to the NW and I'm not very keen on that as it's almost an RP variant of inception.

I also find it not worthy to start giving out awards for things we have under complete control, let alone do this monthly. It's too complex and requires too much time for something of which the end is largely decided.

We have had many ideas to make things more variated in the NW, however by no means have I the intention to make them monthly or even at a set time and I'm more in favor of things like my custom Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. I just created the swords and I let the RPers brawl it out amongst themselves how they deal with them.
