[Suggestion] RP Postcount Requirements and Custom EMS

Now before I go into the topic I wrote as the first bit of the title, let me address the elephant in the room:
Custom Bio EMS. I know it is consistently perceived as an overpowered ability with a ridiculous level of strength, and difficulty to obtain. (I only know of 2 Rp'ers who have it, one a mod and the other a sensei) The reasoning I have behind it is this. EMS is an ability unique to those who can achieve first the three tomoe sharingan, then the standard MS. However, not only are those the only conditions. You must:
-Be a Sensei
-Be of Sage Rank (I believe)
-Take an Expert Battle test and pass (according to some tests I've read, I believe the average you need to pass is a 5.6/6, or at least a decent S-Rank grade)
Though the second requirement is futile to some (Not me, and many other Rp'ers), the first is surely not. Obviously, the major problem comes with battle tests. You must steal an MS from an immediate relative in an official fight. Sasuke can achieve this by taking itachi's eyes, and Madara his brother. However, with a custom character, the player will not usually have a brother/immediate relative with MS. RP-wise, I see the issue. I only know of two bios that exist on the base that are custom and have a Familial relationship with another Rpers bio. That being my Archangel in sig and Sam Uchiha's Ichigo Uchiha Bio. Now, I'm sure if this was an option, not only would it encourage more dedicated Rp'ers to link their bios, but also add to people trying to gain skill in the RP as to pass said battle test. Now, how would one have a battle test conducted by a mod/sensei if the bio was custom? Simple. Don't. If an Rp'er is skilled enough to have MS on their bio (which is a requirement for EMS BTW) they are of sensei rank and are most likely skilled enough to conduct a battle test. Then, have Moderators grade said bio test and boom. System complete. There we go. Now to the second topic:

Postcount Requirements. We all know em' and we all hate em'. I try to spend as much time as I can on the base, posting and attempting to reach a higher ninja rank. Big problem though: Posts in the thousands are big numbers. People need to spend 10's to 100's of hours raising said postcount. I know many people don't have the time to do so. I personally, don't. I have school to work around and another major responsibility all the time. I know people might not be in my situation, but i'm sure a few are in similar places. We have postcounts around 1800, and find it hard to get that next 600. Or for S-Class members that next 1600, or for Sannin.... 4000 posts. 4000 ****in posts. I've been here for well over a year and see people who have been here the same amount of time at Sage. How? I've no clue. I try to spam FGs, do everything, but can't ever hit that mark. I try to get in 30 posts a day, but I guess that doesn't work out well. I wish that postcount requirement was lowered, or rather at least that it become easier to gain posts. I just missed the super-spam-A-lot-2000 competition, so I'm a little pissed. Please, heed my call o' great modding ones, and aid me in this debate.

If you spend a few hours a day in the FG during the times when the base is the most active, you shouldn't have a problem getting couple hundred posts.

The spam thread was opened like 5 days ago. You should have spammed there for an hour at least. The thread was open for almost like 14+ hours, which is rather disturbing (they only last few hours).

You could also join the premium chat and try to have a conversation with people that you don't know. I really don't care about my posts and everyday I make at least 50 without even trying. If you try to be online when there's a lot of people talking in the chat you could easily get 100 each day.

1: I am not going to change the post count just because you are not getting your posts fast enough. There have been people who collected a ridiculous amount of posts in a very short timespan. From that point of view I could say the required amount of posts is way too low and should be increased.

The post count requirements are fine and will not be changed.

2: I honestly don't get what you're trying to say about the EMS as you seem to hop from one thing to another without any coherence. You just passed the 1500 post mark to be able to make a regular Uchiha bio, so why are you talking about something that's currently out of reach by a very long margin?

As for the second point, I see what you mean. The thing is, I only strive for the future, and never the present. The present is always the past by the time you are thinking about the current moment, however the far future will be the future still for a long time to come. This is why I say this. And not just for me. Im sure many people would push themselves in the rp much more If they knew they had a chance at EMS. If you look at my goals on my profile cali, almost all of them are massive things like: Get EIG/SM/CM, Get Sage rank, Become a Sensei, things like that. TBH, when I should be doing work, all I do is spend time on here. I just wish I could progress further, and in general, a little bit faster. I understand your point though.

There are several people in the base that don't even like using Uchiha, and the decent amount of Uchiha members that are on are basically going for MS anyways. It's not like if Custom EMS was allowed, there would be a major shift in eagerness to work in the RP.

I mean, I totally want Custom EMS, but the way you reasoned why it should be allowed isn't very convincing.

Custom MS is already hard to get, due to having to become a sensei and passing a test for it. But with Scorps being inactive, who is becoming sensei anymore? Custom EMS should be restricted to Official Sage rank if it is ever allowed just because getting to Unofficial Sage is too easy for some. Just my opinion though. And i've always had a problem with the post count, but i'm not going into that.

You should be more active on NDS/DS/Premium Chat and FG. You'll easily make 500 post per day.

I think the Post count Ranks kinda dilute the core of the RP, it encourages spamming over actual roleplaying. Considering the High Post Count Ranks, I don't see the RP appearing favorable to a new member who joins NB. He/She will simply realize that spamming so much just to get the high tier techniques is not worth it.

I managed to get to kage rank in posts after like 5 months without spamming. The post count system is fine as it is.

Custom EMS is something Myself and my good friend Ali have both wanted in the rp for years (litterally), my natsu uchiha and his Ace uchiha bios were brothers and both had MS in hopes of one day Attaining it. If we wanted EMS we would go for Madara or sasuke to have it but that's not our style, custom MS being allowed was a huge step even with custom space time MS jutsu, i think we have a good deal.

Imagine a custom MS being approved, then you gain EMS, it would be crazy OP. It's the same reason we don't have custom rinnegan users, it's just too much. It's a nice thought and i understand where you're coming from though.

Although, I agree with this that ranking should be tested in a Role-play setting and administered by a Kage, but realistically, that would be hard to keep track.

For the issue, I pretty much agree with what he said. Custom EMS will be too OP, people will make hella crazy stuff and will be almost untouchable. So, I guess custom EMS should come up with strict restrictions, if they ever do it.lol

You know it took me three years to get to sage rank and I ain't even done with my training. Just focus on learning as much as you can from training while you have it so that when you master it you can do better than those who just breezed through it. It's a looooong road to get to Sage rank but if you work at it by posting in Konnichiwa section, FG section, RP section, and wherever else that is relevant to you, you can do it. Besides getting there the fast way doesn't give you much of an advantage if you still have to wait during your training process to go through the ginormous jutsu list.

One thing I recommend though is to do FG section with a friend or two. Set up a time and date and get to it. If you work hard at it you should get to where you want to be.

So you joined in July 2014 and are still Jounin? Yeah.. you must've wasted a lot of time browsing instead of actually getting your post count up.. all's been said about it I guess.. and a custom EMS? Chances you'll ever get an MS are still quite slim.. let alone EMS and then you need to gain permission to make a custom one.. yeah.. getting abit ahead of yourself huh?
