An assistant in the retrieval of many Devil Fruits for the Marines, it was only a matter of time before Ryou would get the respect he deserved. He was already a shoo-in for a Vice Admiral position, but it would take a while to process. Some lower ranked marines he passed had to do a double take; Ryou wasn't very imposing or authoritative (or so it seemed), and this guy was going to be a Vice Admiral?*
