Despite being a filler, and considered non-canon, I do believe this can be incorporated. Other styles have been incorparated as official abilities from non-canon material (e.g. Guren's Crystal Release, Hiruko, Sora, Storm, Swift, etc). There also requires a bit of assumption at what the full capabilities of the technique are, but it seems fairly basic. With what is provided, I believe this should be added to the RP as another Special Technique.
Should this idea does not become an official ability, I, Jakai, have copyright and patent to submit this as a CFS/CJ.

So as seen in the episode, Shira (another taijutsu only user like Lee) showed a technique very similar to EIG. This style was clearly stated to be created by him, so this is why it is unique to him and not known by many others, as only his two teammates seem to know. Unfortunately, do to it's extremely brief showing, not much is known or can be inferred about it's potential.
What is Known
What can be assumed
Another clear assumption is Taijutsu should be mastered
What is Known
- The technique is known as Seven Heavenly Breaths.
- Similar to how one opens a Gate, the user seems to activate a phase, and goes in sequential order from 1, 2, 3, and so on presumably stopping at 7 activations.
- The technique itself focus on inhaling large amounts of oxygen in order to invigorate the body to tremendous degrees. Also, when using the technique, the user's lung capacity increases fourfold (now if this is specifically after 3 activations or just in general is still unknown).
- Whereas the EIG makes the flow of chakra increase but keeps the build of the user's body relatively the same, this technique causes the user to bulk up with each activation.
- After 3 activations, it is shown to be on par with power of three gates being opened by the EIG.
This technique is even considered Shira's version of EIG, so it shares many similarities.
What can be assumed
- This technique is clearly said to be a breathing technique, so it is plausible to assume that losing control of breath would cancel the technique.
- This technique was created solely by Shira, which would imply he knows only as much as he created. That being said, he said there are 7 Heavenly Breaths, which would make one assume that he has performed all seven. By this assumption, it can mean either, there is a further potential that also kills the user like EIG, or 7 is the max, but the user is still able to survive.
- This technique works by increasing lung capacity and energizing the body, so it seems that chakra is not necessarily being increased at all. This can be why his bulk increases with each activation
- Despite gaining a larger size with each activation, he seems to increase in speed, so it can be assumed that power does not lower his speed.
