Boruto, Sarada and Mitsuki are running through a forest.
There’s a brief description of the forest, then Boruto’s introduction (angsty about his father, his hair is golden and his eyes are blue and he has such gentle features, fap fap), then Sarada’s introduction (dark hair, thick glasses, serious, recently very popular with the boys - but to her ‘childhood friend’ Boruto she’s simply grown a little taller, and she's still the same Sarada... damn, they’re really trying to push this, aren’t they?), then Mitsuki’s introduction (surname unknown, apparently from outside Konoha, like a Zashiki Warashi - their teacher Konohamaru reassured them that it’s normal to meet ninja students whose birth is a mistery… ssssssure it is).
Boruto is irritated because no one was surprised when he learned Kage Bunshin, since he’s Naruto’s son and everyone thought that it was simply expected.
They exit the forest. Another brief description of the scenery and some background info (they’re apparently on a mission). Boruto and Sarada bicker about whether their opponent is actually a bear or a panda. Mitsuki tells them that it doesn’t really matter. Ugh, Sarada calling Boruto ‘Baka Boruto’… kill it with fire.
The bearpanda attacks them and they fight a little. Sorry, not interested in reading the whole thing… at a certain point Boruto is all happy because he’s managed to forestall Sarada - and he likes to look good in front of her because she’s always watching him, and that’s what being rivals is all about. The bearpanda runs away.
While they’re going after the bearpanda, clueless Mitsuki compliments Boruto by telling him ‘As expected from the Seventh’s son and the Fourth’s grandson… maybe Boruto will end up becoming Hokage too…’. Glad to see that Mitsuki is aware of the nepotism. Sarada thinks that it’s not meant as sarcasm, because Mitsuki is unable to read the atmosphere and he simply tells everything that he feels. Bla bla, some more stuff about Mitsuki and people unable to read the atmosphere. Not too interested.
Sarada hits the bearpanda’s vital spot. The author comments on the fact that her movements aren’t like those of a genin - but like a chuunin, perhaps even a jounin. But if Boruto is the son of ‘that Naruto’, then Sarada is the daughter of ‘that Sasuke and that Sakura’ - and therefore, she can’t possibly lose. Though it’s not a matter of blood, but a matter of a shinobi’s will. “I will be the one to become Hokage!”, and she runs after Boruto.
