He wore a long-sleeved light-red shirt and pants, with mesh-armour shirt and fitted black suit underneath, along with calf-length sandals. Around his waist he wore a brown sash that held a brown armour-like breast plate with a pouch in the front, a brown back plate on the back that is connected to the front with mesh armour, and armoured lapels falling to the sides. Interestingly, his headpiece, hair and beard seemed to model his tailed beast's. After leaving his village, Rōshi discarded his forehead protector and his armour plating battle attire. Instead, he only wore his light-red shirt with a mesh shirt beneath it. At his belt, he carries pouches filled with a variety of ninja gear such as kunai, shrunken, paper tags, etc...

人柄|Personality: Son Gokū mentioned that Rōshi was just as hard-headed as Ōnoki, the Third Tsuchikage, suggesting the two had been acquainted. Despite this, upon observing Naruto Uzumaki's battle against Obito and his Six Paths of Pain, as well as his knowledge of the tailed beasts final meeting with the Sage of the Six Paths, he came to regrettably believe that all the jinchūriki could have walked down the right path if they were more like the young man. Also despite being Son's jinchūriki for over forty years, he never referred to the beast by its true name, stating that he had not become soft-hearted enough to do such a thing. Before Son was resealed into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, he revealed to the beast that he never forgot its name, making peace with the giant monkey

歴史|History: Rōshi became the jinchūriki of Son Gokū over forty years before the Fourth Shinobi World War at a young age. He left his home town of Iwagakure at some point to better understand and control the power of the beast within him. At some point after gaining a better relationship with Son Goku, he fought Kisame of the Akatsuki.

能力|Abilities:
Jinchuriki of the Yonbi: 40 years ago, the four tailed bijuu Son Goku was sealed inside Roshi, granting him an additional 400 chakra. He has formed an excellent working relationship with the Yonbi, and is capable of entering all of his appropriate tailed beast modes to tap into the Yonbi's enormous chakra reserves further. Should Roshi ever become placed in a genjutsu below Mangekyo level, it is possible for the Yonbi to passively break it with a chakra surge.
Furthermore, Roshi's position of the Yonbi grants him access to the Lava Release in liquid and solid forms in all his forms. He is capable of using Lava Release jutsu without hand seals. To round off the elemental benefits granted by the Yonbi, Roshi also has a passive +30 to both his Lava and Earth jutsu.
Earth Mastery: Of all his elemental capabilities beside the lava mastery granted by the Yonbi, Roshi is most proficient in his usage with Earth Release. As such, he can perform a few extra earth jutsu, as well as being able to use its jutsu with just one hand seal.
Taijutsu Specialty: Roshi is a disciplined practitioner of martial arts, and close quarters combat is one of his preferred means of fighting. For that reason, he has gained increased reaction time and speed as a result of being a taijutsu specialist.
