Genjutsu is a subdivision of "Jutsu" in which literally translates into "Illusion Technique." Though not always just illusions, Genjutsu is a term that refers to jutsu that the user activates via one of the five senses (taste, touch, sight, smell, or hearing) by infusing something that triggers one of those senses, such as music, to input the user's own chakra into the opponents body, disrupting their chakra flow. By doing this, the user can affect the "captured's" brain via chakra, and cause them to see things, feel pain, etc., though Genjutsu in themselves are rarly fatal and cause little to no phyical harm, bar things such as Tsyukiomi, the Toad Song, and Inizangi, which are in their own cases, special.

Well, there is Kai (Release), the one Kakashi used against Sakura in their first fight to make her think Sasuke had been killed, Kurinai's thing with the tree, and, um.... the one the girl-with-the-flute used against Shikamaru in the Sasuke retrieval ark.

Well, Genjutsu can be release multiple ways, though not all of them can be done by a normal person such as myself.

1. The first way is simply pain. If you can cause yourself enough pain, you can release a genjutsu, probably because your body's self-preservation instincts kick and override the opponent's chakra. This could be anyhing from biting your tounge to stabbing yourself, if needed. o_o
2. The next is Kai. Kai means Release, and is a Genjutsu that works by causing your chakra to charge up and release itself in a very quick burst, allowing your chakra to override your opponents. It can release only up to B rank juts and can only be used (I beleive) twice due to current RP rules - I may not agree with those rules, but rules are rules.
3. The next way is basically having someone else use Kai on you - by placing their hands on you, a teammate or ally can run their chakra into you; the third source of chakra interferes with the opponents and your own, creating such a chaos that the genjutsu is broken.
4. Now, a special method is available only to Biujii hosts: by having a demon sealed inside of you, if you are caught in a genjutsu, the demon can release you in a similar manner as posted one above. I beleive the clan that allows you to split into two people can do this as well, provided that the other half doesn't get captured.\
5. The third is to have Sharingan, though I'm not quite sure how it helps, especially against sound based genjutsu, where as the Sharingan deals with sight.

xd I want to be a Genjutsu Master (<.<" pokemon theme), so I kinda know a lot about it, and I'm willing to put forth a bit more effort.

Hrm...well...This is a predicament. o_o Since I have no team mate, and no special powers, that rules that out. My hands are bound, so no Kai.

*Sucking my lip into my mouth, I bring it between two of my canine teeth, and bite down, causing my lip to bleed as well as a sharp pain that releases me from the genjutsu.*

xd I know. I check Naruto Wiki to see which jutsu require seals and which don't.

Well, that's why it's my plan to experience every genjutsu - like Dedaria, I hope to train my eyes to recognize genjutsu, and thus allow me to train my eyes to break them without a Sharingan, again, like Dedaria.

*After reading the script about how to preform the jutsu, I begin by channeling my chakra and then projecting it around me into the air, as it was shown (by the group actually walking into the already active jutsu) that this particular genjutsu isn't aimed at the opponent, but the surrounding.

So, by projecting my chakra into the air, I make it appear to your clone as if the sun has just suddenly set, and that we are standing out in the middle of a field in a starry night.*

So, basically, its a standard Bunshin with a paper bomb inside it.

U_U And that face only works for Yamato.

*Taking a paper bomb and infusing both it and the air next to me with chakra, I form a clone of me using this genjutsu, with a paper bomb inside of him. He draws a kunai and charges at your clone in a zig-zag path, allowing the paper bomb the time it needs to detonate.*

This is the same thing on a grander scale. multiple servants in the form of you. They look like they are reall attackers, but do not really attack. you have to attack for them.

*Once you make your clone, I preform this jutsu in a similar manner as before, by projecting my chakra into the air at multiple points, creating six clones of me. From behind, I have the clones move in an erratic pattern so that your clone never has a clear look at me; and each time my clone passes in front of me, I throw a kunai, making it appear as if my clone through it.*

Yeah, apparently these two justu are deviations of the straight, basic Bunshin justu, from what I just read.

*I begin by forming the snake then rat handseals, and projecting my chakra into the air, making it appear as if a whirlwind of leaves has engulfed you.

Within a second, the leaves disperse, and I use the chakra I projected into the air (having used the the leaves caused by the Genjutsu to help activate the secondary stage of the genjutsu itself) to make you experience a torturous experience after a few seconds: Daemon is eating your cats and you have no way to stop him.* o_o
