Has anyone ever heard or read this Manga? If so, what are your opinions on it. Personally I loved every second of this Manga, it's now in my top 3 best Manga ever written. The only thing that I didn't like was the anime was done poorly, and strayed so far away from the original Manga, but nevertheless the anime was hilarious when you don't care about it following in it's Manga's footsteps.

And also do you think that there should be a third book series? I think that the author left an open ending, at least be a 5 volume series on the third year of their high school life. But since Tsukune is being trained Issa, Fairy Tale still being established, and the humans knowing the existence of monsters, I think a final third book series will compete the entire sorry.

I didn't click the spoiler because I've never watched/read this but I am interested in it.

But how is it?
Are there actual vampires here? Not some sissy or human looking shiet like Shinobu from the Monogatari Series or those vampires (excl. Alucard) from Hellsing?
Is there fanservice? If yes, how much?
Is it a dark series?
Is there comedy? If yes, how much?
Is it a shounen?
Are the characters a bunch of teenagers or kids or people that look like teenagers or kids?

The fan service is pretty large, the anime strayed from the Manga to go "full on" fan service. The comedy of the anime makes up for it though imo.

The Vampires are treated PERFECTLY, they're basically the strongest monsters in this world and when you read the Manga it shows how people actually are actually terrified of them, and even high ranking monsters tremble for a moment.

The series can be dark at times, not as much as some other manga. But it's not afraid to go that far.

The comedy is everywhere (unless you're not a fan of sexual comedy, that's about 80% of the comedy).

The manga starts at the first year of high school when Tsukune is 15, and ends when he's almost 18.

I'd highly recommend it.

It is very good manga...One of my favourite till date
Yes they are vampires who look like human in appearance but as ability to turn into badass
Yes...Anime has a way more fanservice but in manga it is manageable
Yes it is partially...it plot is dark tho
Hilarious amount of comedy....Anime is a step above in this aspect
a typical shounen I call
All are teenagers & there are adults too (equal distrbution)

I advice you to read manga....don't watch anime! There are two season of manga & second season ended with a room for another series.

Thanks for the link but I don't have time to read an entire season, I skipped school so I could do other things.

Anyways, thanks for the answers to my questions for those who answered it.

Can't say that I've read the manga, but I watched both seasons, might read the Manga one day. Though I found what's his face, Tsukune bloody annoying as a MC. But, it was still watchable.

The Manga is vastly different to the Anime. Tsukune's just an ordinary human, so of course he's annoying as a MC. That aside, I've read both seasons of the manga and I found it to be one of the best I've ever read. It's quite funny, assuming you like sexual humor. It has lots of buttkicking goodness. It also has some heartfelt moments too.

I love the series.

Most series have an overall difference in how they started and how they ended, but in RV that difference is extremely drastic both artwise as plotwise. At the start it looked like some doodles with plot development mainly for some comedic relieve intentions, while in the end the artwork was complex and sublime and a strong plot had been build up.

But as you said the final end was kinda something typical with a lot of manga series: they bring closure to the core of the story, but leave everything else open, something that always annoys me.

I would like a 3rd series, however I have my sincere doubts as the 1st series wasn't portrayed as an end, while the 2nd one clearly was.

I also watched the anime, however I'm mainly a manga person.
