Root and its significance??????

Root or the foundation was often looked at as the dark swat team for Konoha....so how many ninja were actually a part of it 40-50-100???? In the 4th shinobi war we see around 80k ninja fighting. So estimating that konoha has around 16-18k of them, how many were a part of the ROOT??? Why didn't anyone oust danzo and ROOT if they knew of its existence despite Sandaime disbanding it???? I mean they did try to assassinate Hiruzen.....

Size of roots unclear but in assuming fairly large, it probably existed since the beginning of when hiruzen became hokage

It was significant since danzo pretty much controlled konaha in the shadows

They had some pretty superior to some kage shinobi. Itachi was a part of them and tenzou or yamato. Torune is pretty OP actually. Being a sensor makes it easy for fuu to cast the mind transfer as it requires focus. Both of them were OP but too bad thier opponent had the best ST ninjutsu in history.
