If you believe that, I feel sorry for you. Messi has regressed since his record breaking year. Ronaldo has been consistent and definitely deserved it the last two years. He'll probably win it next year too given his teams superiority in winning trophies as of late (they lead in the league, look better in the champions league and just came off winning the Club world cup) and his superior stats (11 goals up in the league and on par in the champions league). Messi didn't even deserve it in 2010. It was robbed from Wesley Sneijder whom won the Quintuple treble and was a world cup finalist. And this is coming from an Italian who likes Messi better, has cousins in Argentina and doesn't even like Portuguese people in his area that much. Ronaldo has been better the last two years and that's irrefutable.
