There has been a recent issue that has been brought up against him for letters that were published in his name, that he didn't write, 1000 miles away from his congressional district in the early 90's.
I present my evidence as follows:
1. He voted for the MLK holiday in 1979,
2. He was a doctor that gave free health care to blacks and delivered black children in Segregated Texas.
3. He is against the war on drugs that arbitrarily discriminate against African Americans.
4. His track record contradicts this newsletter which he did not know about, 1000 miles away, when the internet was not completed and the only thing that was available, was snail mail.
