Approaching the training grounds, Kaene had a deep sense of satisfaction. After all, he would be meeting his friend today- someone he had inspired to learn the Way of the Shinobi. Today wasn't an ordinary session either, it was time Kaene taught Romy everything he knew about wind release. Romy always liked the element and he knew it. Looking over at the horizon, he awaits his student.

*approaching the location of the training with Kaene, Romy remembers the time when he stood up for him and taught him the basics of being a shinobi; he was overjoyed with the satisfaction that Kaene, the man who inspired him to become a great shinobi, wanted to teach him the arts of Wind element - something that Romy heavily wants to excell in; coming with the exemplifying self-confidence and the knowledge that his teacher is an individual with an amazing expertise, Romy knows by heart that this will be the turning point on his road to becoming one of the greatest shinobi who ever lived; upon arriving, he sees Kaene, bows down and proceeds with the greeting*

Romy: "Greetings, my master, friend and comrade. I can't express the joy of becoming your student. I leave myself in your care and have no doubt that you'll make a machine out of me."

*Romy makes a small chuckle and takes the determined stance, ready to begin*

*Romy makes a small chuckle and takes the determined stance, ready to begin*

"So you have come-", Kaene begins as he sees Romy. He was quite surprised by the formality and the bow Romy presented. Listening politely, Kaene then continues, "No worries, my friend. You don't need to be formal or treat me like some kind of master. I am but a medium that will help you on your path to becoming a great shinobi and more importantly a great thinker."
Performing a single handseal, Kaene levels the ground for an easier session as he looks at Romy and asks, "So, Romy tell me all you know about Wind release. You don't need to give me a very long lecture but try and be brief in what you say while covering all the basics. I shall help you in each step so don't worry or be saddened when you fail. This is going to be a long session"

"So you have come-", Kaene begins as he sees Romy. He was quite surprised by the formality and the bow Romy presented. Listening politely, Kaene then continues, "No worries, my friend. You don't need to be formal or treat me like some kind of master. I am but a medium that will help you on your path to becoming a great shinobi and more importantly a great thinker."
Performing a single handseal, Kaene levels the ground for an easier session as he looks at Romy and asks, "So, Romy tell me all you know about Wind release. *boiling in his head with the excitement and anticipation, Romy agrees with what Kaene says and answers accordingly: "Even so, my friend, without respecting your peers accordingly, there's no integrity, structure and then in turn, there's no progress in wichever you're aiming for."; upon this statement, Romy thinks of a contructive answer to present and elaborate the Wind element as much as possible; he doesn't wait too long since he abides by his instinct and immediate knowledge of the said element and then proceeds*

Romy: "Wind release is one of the five basic elemental nature transformations. It is somewhat a rarer element among shinobi than others and its dealt damage is akin to slashing or cutting. Its attacks usually consist of short to mid-ranged techniques. It's strong against lightning but weak against fire."

*Romy finishes with the introduction of the element believing he made the right choice of words; he knows that even if something was wrong, Kaene would make up for it but he still wants to be as accurate as possible*

"Yes,yes wonderfully said indeed. Wind release is one of the five basic elements. It is performed by shaping chakra thin and sharp like an invisible blade which is very fast in nature. Wind release can also be used in a more 'destructive' nature. Techniques that include wind blasts and bullets are examples of these.
Now, while you managed to cover the strength and weakness, I feel I must add that Wind is stronger than lightning because it disperses the lightning while acting as a conductor the same time. Wind consists of oxygen which fuels fire and is thus a weakness. We can also use this property of wind release in conjunction with fire release to create a more intense and quicker fire. Wind can also be combined with water to create cyclones and what not. Water and wind both add up to the destructive power while not necessarily complementing each other like Fire and Wind.
Kekkei genkei like scorch , ice and magnet have wind release as a component while Kekkei tota such as Dust also uses Wind. We'll go into details about these lessons the further we get into training. For now, this is the stop."
Upon finishing, Kaene then takes out a small piece of paper from this bag and hands it to his student.
"This is a chakra loving paper. Go on, try channeling chakra through this piece of paper and see what happens to it. While you do so, try and feel the wind through your veins. Be one with the wind"

Chuckling to himself, Kaene could feel the nervousness and excitement within Romy. Nodding his head in agreement, he feels quite happy of the instinctive answer and proceeds,

*Romy listens to the lecture carefully, with an astonishing willpower to engrave this useful information into his brain cells; hearing the properties and abilities that Wind element offers, Romy begins to realize that his character is very much like the Wind itself and it will complement his persona better than any other element; chuckling and feeling at ease, Romy grabs the paper Keane gave to him; he knows and understands the procedure of channeling the chakra through the paper but feeling it is another issue; a bit dissatisfied, Romy looks at Keane and says: "Could you please elaborate how exactly should I feel the wind?"; Romy always thought that he could excell at anything and that he wouldn't need a second explanation which is why he feels the frustration; luckily, his pride doesn't progress to arrogance so he knows that there is much value in learning from mistakes; it doesn't take too long for Romy to get back at the anticipation track and patiently wait for Kaene's answer*

Quite surprised by the question, Kaene looks at Romy and replies, "I feel you should know that better than me since you have more love for this element. Nonetheless, haha, all you need to do is remember the times you have spent on rocky mountain tops where cool winds blow through your face and your body. Try and imagine how you felt when the same wind struck you on various village missions. Be the wind, take into account all its properties and how it feels. You have the ability with you. All you need is to channel the chakra through the paper while reminiscing the feeling wind has brought you all these years"

Quite surprised by the question, Kaene looks at Romy and replies, "I feel you should know that better than me since you have more love for this element. Nonetheless, haha, all you need to do is remember the times you have spent on rocky mountain tops where cool winds blow through your face and your body. Try and imagine how you felt when the same wind struck you on various village missions. Be the wind, take into account all its properties and how it feels. You have the ability with you. All you need is to channel the chakra through the paper while reminiscing the feeling wind has brought you all these years"

*Romy chuckles with understanding and replies:"I was surprised too by this sudden, let's call it, interference, but nonetheless, I figured out that the problem lies in my wish for everything to be perfect which is why I failed. The popular saying goes practices makes perfect, so even if I have to ask or something is imperfect for the first time, it only means I'll get a lot better at it."; Romy then takes a deep breath, closes his eyes and starts to feel the embrace of the wind that follows; the sensation he feels is quite extraordinary because his skin starts to shiver from both excitement and the ravishing feeling of the wind's effect; Romy opens his eyes and looks at the paper with a slight surprised look* - the paper was cut in two halves -; Romy then looks at Kaene and says:"Look at this, sensei, just like the wind, cut, slashed in two!"​; Romy chuckles*

"Okay, so this is the first technique we will be learning. Since you now know the nature of wind pretty well, try and gather chakra on your body and focus on your lungs. After doing so, release the chakra while manipulating it in the form of a stream that you release from your mouth. Then, follow the same procedure but instead, focus chakra on your limbs and release a blast of wind. Go on "

Laughing out loud at Romy's response, Kaene begins, "Bravo! Yes that is it." Taking out a scroll from his bag, he tosses it over to his student.

*Romy immediatelly takes the scroll to see its properties; he focuses and gathers chakra on top of his lungs, he feels the sensation as he breathes the large amount of air; taking a deep breath, he releases the chakra in form of a powerful wind blast from his mouth; surprised by the power of the wind, he looks at sensei and says:"Did you see the power I exhibited?"; shaking with the excitement, he waits patiently for sensei's response in hopes that he did everything right*

Smiling at the performance, Kaene asks his student, "Now tell me how many ways can you use this technique?"

Smiling at the performance, Kaene asks his student, "Now tell me how many ways can you use this technique?"

*seeing that the technique can be used in various ways, Romy casually proceeds with the answer: "Since the user releases blasts of wind from the mouth or the limbs, the technique can be used in both offense and defense. For the offense, you use it normally as an attack in order to damage your opponent, pretty straight-forward. As far as defense goes, you can use it to repel your opponent's attack if you're about to get struck in a similar fashion. To successfuly defend yourself with this technique, you simply execute it in order to cancel the opposing attack"; as he elaborates his explanation, Romy waits patiently to see if his answer was correct*

Nodding his head in appretation, Kaene simply looks at another scroll and instead of giving it to Romy he decides to hand them at the end.

"Okay. The next technique focuses on using sand layers and dust to hinder opponent's eyesight and possibly movement. Focus your chakra towards your lungs and release a small blast of wind that layers an area in dust and sand."
