Do you mean a relationship where its physical attraction vs personality attraction?

I mean I think you mean to say like just going to dates and hanging out kind of stuff for romantic right? or are you talking about courting? simply put romantic is basically flirting with your other half. If that's not the case, then what you are saying is a platonic relationship with a friend.

To be completely honest you need both for a relationship to happen.

1) sexual attraction to keep you and your other engaging each other
2) personality attraction to maintain that engagement.

So obviously im taking a look at physical attraction as I wouldnt know a thing about the person I'd like to be my half. It's an evolutionary trait that has been passed down every since time immemorial. You may argue about knowing each other through the internet, ok. Well but if you dont see each other, it becomes platonic. Its a rare thing to get more involved with someone you knew beforehand without physical attraction (like when you two finally meet and you or they are not up to your/their standards of attractiveness) which forces you to just be friends. Only through Stockholm syndrome or something of the sort (like being forced to be with each other like arranged marriage in some culture/countries) where no physical attraction may actually work in a relationship.
