Oh yea, speaking of Romance have you watched King of Eden? It has two movies I think. Its pretty good. You might also wanna try Boku wa Tomodachi

The only romance centered anime's I've watched are Amagami SS and shuffle and I thought they were alright for what they were. Though Shuffle does have some magic in it.
