Can roleplay threads and Character bio threads have some sort indication on them like [Bio] or [RP]?

There is no indication on Today's Topics and I always click on those threads and its just a hassle when I realize its a RP thread.

Does looking at the section the thread is made in not suffice for you, or are you asking for it to be obvious in the today's topics as well?

It's never seemed like a big deal to me so I doubt the mods would change something insignificant like that.

Its hardly a big deal however it is kinda annoying going into RP threads or Bio threads. So if something can easily be changed were its obvious in Today's topics I would appreciate it.

It's not really that hard to just...leave. What about people who have no interest in fanfiction, or the art section, or Bleach, and click on a thread for those? There is no one here that finds appeals to every single section, so should every single section also have indicator? That'd be a pretty big waste of time since hitting backspace isn't that hard or tedious.

I can usually tell where a certain thread comes from but with the RP section, sometimes its just Naruto character names and I go to see what its about and its a Bio. I dont have a problem with the RP section, I just open a lot of RP threads by mistake.

So if something can easily be done where its obvious then that would be great.

Is it really that hard to just click on a link to another page? The way I see it, you're just complaining for the sake of it. If you click on a thread, and you don't like it, you can leave.

I don't see a problem here unless, of course, you are using dial-up service to browse NB, but I doubt that so quit complaining and just click the "back" arrow on your browser or simply browse to another section of the forum.

I have a better suggestion-remove RP threads from today's topics all together. What the hell is the point of putting it there, when only like 2 or 3 posters can post in the thread? If vs threads are not allowed in today's topics, nor should the RP threads.

No its not but its still annoying that I run into RP threads and Characters Bios all the time thinking they are regular Naruto discussion threads.

All I am saying is if something can be done to change this easily then I would appreciate it. Its not a big deal once or twice but if it happens every day it can get annoying.

That's an even better suggestion, considering those who take part in the RP actually link themselves to the threads they make, such as: training, sparring, battles, etc. No need to have these RP threads wasting space in 'Today's topics' or the 'Latest Threads' module. But this has been suggested multiple times in the past and was shot down every time because the RP is supposedly a "crucial" component of NB and "more important than '[character] >=< [character]' threads". Tsk. The audacity...

All RP threads are posted in the RP sections, hence adding something like RP is redundant and causes several practical problems as many RP threads have already prefixes. The only thing that would bypass that is that somehow the RP sections are directly linked with the Latest Threads box making an RP prefix automatically appear there. However even if that's already possible, I personally would find a lot of work for nothing as it only changes one click of a button. Maybe not even that as if you do not click on that thread, you just click on another one.

Unlike VS threads, which are a complete plague we only allow as a necessary evil as forbidding them will only cause people to riot, we actually want people to encourage to RP. Hence having the threads up there makes people aware of the RP system. Our RP occupies one of the top posts in our ranking of importance, while those abominations of a VS threads belong in the deepest part of the sewer, which is more then they deserve.

How is that working out for the RP...? I mean, you guys want people to join a system that's more corrupted than all the governments put together, hence why so many people (mostly veterans) leave the RP. Then there's also the dilemma of people not being able to get training because of the lack of sensei/senpai. But maybe your goal is to get more members so you can have more sensei/senpai available, but how do you get past people not being able to get training? Many also leave because they can't get training. How about once they get training (and reach sensei/senpai status, if ever) and realize the system is corrupted, and leave? Or maybe I have it all wrong, so correct me if I am, but please without writing a Great-Wall-of-China-sized wall of text.

There are plenty of people who participate and enjoy the RP system. You cannot make everyone happy and if you don't like it then so be it.

If you have a suggestion then i'm sure the RP team will be more than happy to hear it but throwing around your useless complaints and veiled insults doesn't benefit anyone. Now stay on the actual topic of this thread and don't spam.
