Who was he? I mean everybody saw his mom and ideals and theories exploded in their brains but were missing something. Who is his dad? Maybe Kishi intentionally did this. Mention his mom and make people forget that he had a dad. Maybe he too was a big influence on the world...or maybe a side effect of Kaguya eating the fruit was that she had a child...and the Juubi is indirectly his father :0

On-Topic: I don't think his father really holds much relevance. After all, it was his mother that gave him holy powers, the father might have been an Uzumaki, though it wouldn't hold much meaning since he wasn't ever a shinobi.
