Rogue is a slim young man of average height with rather messy black hair, which almost reaches down to his shoulders, along with some strands pointing upwards on top of his head and a prominent tuft obscuring most of his forehead. He has red eyes with slit pupils like a snake's. Rogue wears a long, greyish cape reaching down to his feet, with lighter edges, a much lighter collar circling his neck, and a prominent, pale light blueish ribbon hanging down on his chest. Such cape bears a light Sabertooth's symbol on it, almost in correspondence to Rogue's left shoulder. Below it, Rogue seems to don a plain dark shirt, with prominent light cuffs and what looks like a large metal band circling each of his biceps. From a light sash circling his waist hangs a distinctive, light-colored cloth waistguard, consisting of four long pieces of cloth reaching down below his knees. Each of these pieces is adorned by a large, dark cross with fan-shaped arms. Below such waistguard, Rogue wears a pair of armored boots, which, on the front, bear plates bearing the very same motif which appears on the waistguard.​

Personality:

Known by his guild, Sabertooth, as The Shadow Dragon, he fierce in combat and will always humiliate his opponent in battle if they are not good enough to keep up with him. Rogue Cheney is what would be considered, very cocky, he will never acknowledge the skill of his enemies or allies, because he believes that he is the best. Also Rogue's personality is very fitting of his name Rogue, he is a very sly man who always keeps his feelings to himself and always tells others that he does not care about the subject, though his partner Sting always knows what he is thinking. They share a bond that is sort of brotherly in the way that they compete to see who the better of the two are, both being Dragon Slayers and both having immense power and both completely understanding each other.

As a child Rogue was a very kind young boy who enjoyed to play with his friends and pretend to be Ninja like any other kid his age. He met Sting at the very young age of five. They were alike in their interests and enjoyed each other's company and loved to fight each other uses their fake Ninja Swords. This friendship ended up lasting a very long time and continues to this day but in a different context. Their friendship is a competition to see, really, who will become the strongest Dragon Slayer Ninja in the end.

When Rogue was growing up, he met the dragon that taught him everything he knows about Dragon Slayer Ninjutsu. Though during this time of learning his personality changed quite a lot. He ended up seeking to much power and after he mastered this new Ninjutsu, he went out in search for power. This led him to become almost Mad with Power and in the end killed his Dragon that taught him what he knows just to become a third Generation Dragon Slayer. To this day he seeks to become stronger so he can quench his thirst for power.

History:

Rogue Cheney, later known as the Shadow Dragon by his peers was born in Kirigakure and spent almost all of his childhood there. In his time growing up he attended the Kirigakure Ninja Academy. This is where he met his long time friend, Sting, who continues to travel with Rogue and help him on his quest to becoming the Strongest Ninja. But during his time at the Ninja Academy, he did not make many good friends except for Sting because of his shy demeanor. As a child he was kind of a loner and was too nervous to talk to the other children so Sting became his best friend and his only real good friend.

During his training however, Rogue, was a determined young boy aspiring to be the very best. He worked harder than any other kid and it paid off, as he became the top student in his graduating class with Sting being number two. He and Sting would spent hours after class practicing what they had learnt in class. He also spent many hours searching through the Central Library for new Ninjutsu that he could learn to be even better than his class. By the time he was a Genin he had already mastered many Jutsu that made him even stronger than some Chuunin. He was not a prodigy, but a hard working boy who spent hours becoming the best he could be.

After becoming a Genin, due to there very close relationship Sting and Rogue were put together to go on missions and they were also put with another very gifted Ninja from their class. This team was setup so it could go on C-Rank missions when they were Genin and not put them in danger. After some time doing their fair share of C-Rank Missions, it seems too easy, so they were sent on a B-Rank escort mission. During this mission they were tested to their limits, they had to fight off many thieves and enemy Ninja who were trying to steal a sacred Crescent Stone from a Royal Prince. After the completion of this Mission, the Mizukage decided to allow them to take the test to become Official Chuunin. All three of the Genin in this squad easily passed the test in the end at the age of 12.

After three years of becoming stronger and stronger, taking on missions that most Chunnin never would have hoped to take on, Rogue and his team were called into the office of the Mizukage. As they stepped in they saw their Jounin from their team as well as two others. Rogue and the two others sat down in front of the Mizukage's desk. The Mizukage proceeded to congratulate the three of them on their hard work and dedication. She told them that they were the best team they had seen in years. Upon hearing this, Rogue was given the new title of Official Jounin at the young age of 15. He was the youngest Jounin ever to come from Kirigakure. This brought great joy to Rogue and he ran home to tell his mother and father who he was very close to.

Though, 7 months later, a group of Missing-Nin attacked the village and Rogue's parents went to help defend the village, and in the process, the ended being killed by this group of Ninja. When Rogue found out about this, he wept for days upon end, and in the his personality completely changed and he became thirsty for Power so he could kill that group of Ninja that took his parent's lives. Being the great friend that Sting was, Sting decided to help Rogue in his journey for power and revenge and they set off to learn new Jutsu and become stronger than any other Ninja.

At the age of 16, and after 3 months of searching, Sting and Rogue finally met a man who could help them in their quest for power. He knew of two Dragons that lived in the mountains around the town they were in that would teach two students the ways of Dragon Slayer Ninjutsu. Though this man, who was named Nocturnus, told them that this journey was not for the weak and that these Dragons would not teach their special Ninjutsu to anyone who wasn't the best. Rogue and Sting were very interested and determined so Nocturnus showed them the way to these Dragons, where Sting and Rogue spent three years training.

After these years of harsh training, Sting and Rogue decided that they had learned everything they could from their respective Dragon Sensei so they both decided that they would only become stronger if they killed their Dragon Sensei and implanted the Dragon Lacrima from the body into theirs. So after planning, both of them had intense battles with their Dragon Sensei and both Sting and Rogue defeated their Dragon and implanted some of the Dragon Lacrima into their bodies making them even stronger and almost an unstoppable team.

These two decided that Sunagakure was a village where the mighty and strong were so they set off to join this village and help them while also learning new ways to gain power from them, and so the set off to the Land of the Wind and to the village called Sunagakure. Though before arriving in the Sunagakure, they got side-tracked by a power known as the Rain Element. They arrived in Amegakure seeking this new found power. They both quickly learned it and shortly after they continued on with their journey to Sunagakure. Both Rogue and Sting were welcomed into this new village, and many of the higher up Ninja had heard about the power of both Rogue and Sting and decided that they would teach Rogue and Sting while making a deal that they must both help the village in any battles that occur, and so they both agreed to these terms and now at the age of 20 both Rogue and Sting remain in Sunagakure gaining more power and protecting the Village Hidden in the Sand.

Fire Release:

After spending a lot of time and training into his Fire jutsu he has gained complete mastery over it. He can now perform each jutsu with a single handseal.​

Dark Release:

Rogue Cheney is a master of Dark Release and through hard work with his Dragon Sensei and determination and the lust for power, he worked for years to master what is Dark Release in the Dragon Slayer Form. Instead of having the mark on his left hand like Hiruko did, his Dragon Sensei put this mark on his tongue so he could essentially swallow other Jutsu to give him the power that is necessary for him to use Dark Release.​

Rain Element:

After going to Amegakure, Rogue stayed and trained their. During this time training, he learned to control and manipulate the Rain thus giving him mastery over the Rain Element.​
