In addition, the user can also create 2 slabs that will rise and tilt to the sides in front of him, as if "opening up" the ground. This can be done to create a clear path if anything hazardous is above the ground in that specific area.

So this technique is nothing more then a shield pretty much. By striking the ground you can create a large earth slab about the same size of you that will protect you from frontal attacks. This is one of the more simple techniques but it also hinders your vision.

So pretty much by lifting up your hand you create a river of mud from under your opponent or infront of you towards your opponent (up to you) By doing this you can pretty much wash away your opponent, knocking him off balance. By adding water you increase the flow of this technique.. I wouldnt do it though. Its kinda useless....

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent by merging with the ground itself. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. The disadvantage with this technique is that merging with the ground is rather slow and while perfomring the technique, the user is vulnerable to high ranked Earth techniques. The user isn't hidden from doujutsu or sensory ninjas and cannot travel beyond the 3 meter deep mark. Moving around in the ground is slow and the user cannot sense very well what is happening above.

As you can see, there's plenty of cons about this jutsu and not many pro's. It does stealthily hide you from someone without doujutsu/sensory, and using your earth chakra you can unmerge without disrupting the ground, however you can only go 3 meters deep and it's usage/speed of movement are slow as well as you can't really tell what's happening above ground. Give me a breakdown on what type of situation you'd use this in.

Description: The user will first perform the required hand seals Rabbit → Boar → Rat → Horse → Tiger → Snake and slamming the hands on the ground, the user can, by flowing concentrated chakra into the Dragon Veins flowing underground, tear the earth apart, creating large chasms by raising the earth in two oposite sides in the desired location and then splitting that piece of earth through the center. The length, width, direction, and curve of the chasm are all up to the user. Manipulating the Dragon Veins requires fine chakra control, but if one has such skill, they can use this technique to divide the space between the enemy and their own team in two, destroy enemy camps or defences, and even to attack.
Note: This does not split the earth apart directly to cause opponents to fall in the fissure.

OK, by concentrating your earth chakra into the dragon veins flowing underground you can raise the earth in a large section then split it in two creating a chasm. the size/shape are all up to the user and it takes fine chakra control. Give me a good reason for using something of this magnitude.

I'd most likely use this jutsu while my opponent is trapped within a Genjutsu or the battlefield is covered in mist,rain,dust, etc. By doing this, this would completely cover my tracks. With my opponent unaware of my location, I could easily surprise attack them.

A good use of this technique would be to separate teams of enemies and throw them off guard to a certain extent. Also the rock source I created could be used as a source to hit an enemy from behind if they happen to jump off of the structure.

Description: After performing snake hand seal the user slams their hand on the ground. The result is that the ground becomes heavily turned up with chunks of rubble popping out of the ground. This technique is used as a means to distract opponents to either create an escape or follow through with a surprise attack although it can also do some damage or be udes to destroy enemy earth techniques of equal rank and bellow.

Molding your doton chakrs, you make a seal then slam your hand to the ground causing the ground up to mid range to be turned up causing mild destruction. Can be used to destroy C rank and below earth structures as well. Give me your input on this jutsu's usefulness and what it's downside seems to be, and how you might use it against this guy!

Description: After performing the snake → Seal of Confrontation and then by encasing their arm in rock, the user can deal a powerful hardened punch against an opponent while being protected from direct contact with their target. If necessary, the weight of the rock can be increased to further increase the punch's destructive power through the Earth Release: Added Weight Technique or the Earth Release: Super Added Weight Technique.

Now this is right up my alley. Molding your chakra you make 2 seals, covering your arm in rock. This can be used to cause damage when striking but also can be used to protect from being hurt, following strengths and weaknesses of course, and can be used with 2 earth techniques you'll learn further down the road. Show case your usage of this against the same clone from before, if he's dead pretend I made another one..

Satoshi performed a single handseal before slamming his palms onto the earth's surface. Doing this caused the ground surrounding him to buckle and crack, causing the clone to lose its footing. As the shifting rock was violently turning upward, Satoshi quickly pulled out a kunai and threw it into the throat of the clone. The clone quickly dispersed.

"I think this jutsu is useful for destroying weaker earth structures and distracting an enemy. The downside would be that an enemy could easily take advantage of the situation by channeling lightning chakra through the ground and nullifing the attack and electrocuting me. "


As a second clone came darting toward Satoshi, he'd quickly weave 2 seals while releasing earth chakra from his right arm. This would allow plates of rock to stack on Satoshi's arm and encase it within the rock. As the clone came within close range, Satoshi quickly jabbed the clone in the jaw, instantly dispersing the clone.
"This techniques is most useful in close range situations whenever I am looking to deliver a simple but deadly punch. A disadvantage is that my arm would be made a viable threat and would cause additional attention to be drawn towards it, and if my opponent were to use this jutsu , I'd most likely use a lightning attack such as nagashi to turn the rock into dust while simultaneously electrocuting the enemy."

Note: The initial entry of the technique is short range.

This one allows for transporting people underground railroad style, however if used in a battle it'd be kinda hard to do unnoticed. Also it cannot pass thru dense material which also limits it somewhat. Tell me how this could aid you in the NW, no need for strengths/weakness on this one as it's pretty self explanatory..

Description: After performing the Assimilate All Creation Technique to fuse with an object, the user controls the rocks that make up their "body" and shoot the rocks at the target.

Now, normally I'd wait till you can perform Assimilate All Creation, but lets assume you already know that technique. After fusing with an object, preferably rock, you can control the materials your fused with to make them shoot outwards from you in short range. Tell me what you'd consider the strengths and weaknesses of this one to be and how'd you use it in battle..

I'd probably use this jutsu to provide my partner, clone , or summon a route to attack the enemy from the back or other blindspot. I'd most likely use this jutsu while hidden.



The strength of the next jutsu is that it is very useful as a last resort, close range jutsu. By simply absorbing the earth and taking on its properties, I can release rocks from my body without the use of handseals. A weakness for this jutsu is that due to it being weak to lightning, a Raiton user could simply counter it with a defensive/offensive Raiton jutsu which would most likely take form faster than the rocks will meet the target due to lightning being faster and stronger. I'd use this jutsu in the middle of a taijutsu/Kenjutsu portion of a fight whenever my hands are tied or there simply isn't enough time for seals.

OK, for this one you will need to mold your doton chakra into the earth, forming one seal, you will release it into the ground forming 2 walls of earth that you will make rise on either side of your opponent. Note that it can be made up to mid range, though it can also be done short ranged as well. Give me some strengths of this, as we pretty much know it's weakness is D rank and above Lightning. Also give me an example of a good situation to use this one..

As strength of this jutsu is that it is a quick way to trap an enemy And before letting it smash my enemy due to the colliding walls, I can execute another jutsu from the ground or above. For example, in a battle I would cause the walls quickly shoot upwards and trap my enemy in the center then I jump in the air and throw flame shuriken at them before landing back onto the ground and closing the gap in between the walls.

Its possible, just beware that with time frame someone could use a move as soon as you use the earth jutsu interrupting your plans.

(Doton: Hokoriheki no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Dust Wall Technique

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra releasing it into the ground and with a wave of their arm or through the application of a weapon can cause a small wall of dust particles and sand to rise up from the ground and thrusting forwards. This technique creates a simple dust screen that will fade away after 3 turns.

Effective jutsu for creating a screen for cover, or for getting dirt in someones eyes to temporarily blind them. Lasts 3 turns which is nice, however remember that sensors will still be able to sense you and also that it only covers up to mid range. Give me an example of usage for this one against a charging opponent.

Description: The user manipulates their chakra and creates a huge rock from the ground that will rise up, hammering the opponent by slamming it down from above them.

Welp, this one speaks for itself. Not the quickest jutsu in the world and only short range, but if it connects it's gonna hurt, bad xD. Give me a couple strengths and weaknesses and use the jutsu for me..

Against a charging opponent, this jutsu can be used to blind them as they are running by releasing earth chakra into the ground and thrusting my hand forward, giving me an opening to attack.

Satoshi releases his earth chakra into the ground in front of him , allowing him to lift a large chunk of rock. He then would send the rock smashing into the ground.

And advantage is that this jutsu can power through some defenses and attacks. A disadvantage is that this jutsu is slow due to the process of lifting the earth, then crashing it back down. The jutsu can be beat in speed by single movement techniques and especially wind or lightning. A counter to this jutsu could also be that a defensive jutsu of the same or greater caliber.

This one is quite useful. Molding your doton chakra, you manipulate it into your palm or fist and create a decent sized rock that can be launched at the enemy. Another usage as you see is molding your doton chakra inside and spewing out a globule of mud that hardens on route to them. Versatile jutsu with multiple applications. Give me 3 strengths and weaknesses of this one.

Description: The user will manipulate their chakra and stomps the ground. By doing so, he causes small fractures to rip through the ground, which will then force fragments of earth and rock to rise up from the ground like protruding rock formations to then deal blunt force damage to the opponent and can raise them up into the air.

Last C rank, stomping the ground, you send your doton chakra to the ground causing it to fracture, cause pieces of rock and earth to rise upwards smashing into your opponent hard enough to send them air bound. Takes a little bit of time to reach the enemy depending on how close you are. Give me 3 weakness and strengths of this jutsu

Strength #1) This jutsu can be used in conjunction with a fire style jutsu I suppose since in the oral release, it comes out as mud before hardening.	Weaknes #1) D rank lightning is enough to stop this.
Strength #2) It can be launched from my hand or mouth without the use of handseals.	Weakness #2) A C+rank earth defense
Strength #3) This jutsu spans up to long range, making up for its lack of overall power. It can be used as a quick diversion.	Weakness #3) since the technique hardens mid way, an enemy can swiftly move upwards, causing it to hit them as mud.

A couple strengths of this next technique is that it is easy and quickly executed with just a simple clap. Another is that it knocks the enemy back, giving me the opportunity to strike again while they're down or plan my next set of moves or maybe even knock them into a trap. A weakness is that an enemy can use a lightning technique to crumble the earth technique or they can propel themselves upwards.

Satoshi analyzes the clone waiting to be dealt with. He would channel his doton chakra into the earth below him and with the clap of his hands, two large rocked stretched across the field and tackled the clones midsection. This would result in the clone being sent flying backwards before dispersing.

A strength of this technique is that it may lead to a combo of jutsu while the enemy is in midair.	A weakness is that the rocks can all be negated by lightning
Another is that multiple rocks are smashing into the enemy, not just one.	Another is that is takes more time to take action if the opponent is further away, this could cause serious problems such as me getting merkt as soon as I stompo my foot and the jutsu aint even reach them.
The final one is that this can be quickly executed with just a stomp.	This jutsu can also be dodged by enemies fast enough or who can see chakra like Hyuga members.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Boar → Ox → placing hand on the ground, the user causes the ground surrounding the enemy to spiral inwards on itself, burying them alive or crushing them in a mayhem of jagged rocks. This technique is capable of causing quite a bit of damage to a large area. This technique is much more damaging if used in rocky mountainous areas, or inside a cave.

Making 2 seals as you mold your doton chakra, you place your hands to the ground releasing it to underneath your opponent. What happens next is an area sized however you like spirals inwards on itself, burying them alive (I like to make it bury them with their head still sticking out xD) or crushing them completely in large jagged rocks. Can alter the terrain quite drastically depending on your usage..
( Doton: Dosekidake no Jutsu ) - Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot Technique

Satoshi summoned a clone then commanded it to walk into long range. As the clone reached long range, Satoshi quickly performed 2 handseals while molding his earth chakra. He then bent down and slammed his palm onto the surface. This would cause the ground under the clone to collapse, swallowing it up to its neck. With its head sticking out, Satoshi pulled a kunai out of his tool pouch and threw it in between the clones eyes.
"The strength of this jutsu is that it captures a wide range of enemies and brings them down into the earth. The disadvantage is that an enemy can use a lightning jutsu to nullify the earth , causing it to halt it from completly turning in on itself. "

Next , Satoshi summoned another clone and commanded it to go into mid range. Without the use of seals, he released his earth chakra underground, causing it to rise out as 4 spikes. The spikes would come from the clones 2,5,8,&10 ocklock angles, meaning that he can only see the two in the front. The clone attempted to jump backwards to avoid the spikes coming from infront, just to be imoaled from behind(no homo).
"The advantage is that this Jutsu attacks at multiple angles and doesn't require seals. The weakness is that a lightning style defense can easily save the enemy. "

Description: The user creates their clone out of stone that he spits from his mouth. Unlike other types of clones the rock clones don’t disappear after being defeated but rather crumble like rubble. These clones can also be used to create a clone of other people than themselves but do not take on the abilities of the copied person. They can use up to C-Rank Earth techniques and are very resistant to physical damage such as that from Taijutsu which they can endure up to B-Rank.

Alrighty, a clone made of stone that you spit from your mouth, can be made to resemble anyone you want however gains none of their abilities. Can take a bit of physical damage and use Earth jutsu up to C rank..

Description: The user surrounds themselves with earth, taken from the immediate vicinity, in order to fabricate a formation of rock that is capable of protecting both the user and others in close proximity, if desired. Doing so, seemingly leaves the surrounding terrain unaltered, even when the quantity of earth used is enough to form a complete dome around multiple individuals as seen when Ittan used this technique. The user can also manipulate the resulting shelter to have openings in it so as to be able to observe outside, as demonstrated when used by Kitsuchi.

Creates a formation of rock that can protect yourself and others close enough to your vicinity while doing no damage to the surrounding terrain, and can leave openings to peer out of..

Description:The user slams his hands on the ground and creates a 1/4 dome of earth, which protects them from frontal external attacks. The domes shape is in a similar fashion to wood release: wood locking walls.

Creates a 1/4 dome of earth to protect yourself, the opening of the dome can face you or another direction. I used this once when someone went to run past me making the opening face them so they couldn't turn to avoid it, without slamming into the walls that is..

Please use each technique, then give me a strength and weakness for each as well please

Satoshi began to harness his earth chakra within himself and then spit it out as several chunks of rock. The rock would begin to combine with each other , ultimately creating a clone made of pure stone. The clone would begin to colorize its self in a matter of seconds.
the pro is that this jutsu can take the form of anybody but the con is that it can only use up to C ranks.

Next Satoshi suffices enough chakra into the ground below him which causes a dome to envelope him and his clone. By manipulating the earth dome, he caused a small peep hole to form. Satoshi then walked over to the peephole and observed the clouds which were idling in the blue sky.
A strength of this is that it protects anyone in short range meaning, clones, allies , summons , etc. A weakness is that I'm still exposed to ground attacks.

Next Satoshi squats down , slamming his palms onto the earth's surface. This cause a 1/4 dome to rise with the opening facing Satoshi.
A strength is that it's a simple and quick defense against attacks, but I'm still exposed from the other 270 angles

Using your doton chakra, use this on that clone over yonder who's rushing you, then give me 2 advantages/disadvantages

Assuming you know Assimilate all creation, you use that first then draw in nearby rocks to make the Human Ball spinning move (as used by Chouji) more powerful. For this one, just give me a good idea that you understand it by describing the technique in a different set of words then I did xD If you don't know Assimilate all creation, don't worry you will once you get deeper into Ninjutsu training.
