[Predictions] Rock Lee's 'Gates' in the Original Naruto Anime

I have recently started to watch the anime and have arrived at the part where Rock Lee has used is inner gates but was unsure how it works... the anime only says so much and I was curious as to how he controls the opening of these gates. xd

sasuke leaves the village because he wants to hunt down his brother for killing his clan and joins orochimaru. Also the leaf village is destroyed by a guy named pain and many of the tailed beasts are sealed by a group called Akatsuki one of the leaders kills Jiraiya naruto's sensei. Finally Itachi turns out to be a good guy. Oh and i forgot to say spoiler alert.
