A flashy, overconfident, and powerful ninja, Rock Lee was born without the ability to manipulate chakra into jutsu, leaving him with the ability to only use Taijutsu, which he has honed a large amount. He is most likely the 2nd most skilled Taijutsu user in Konoha, second only to Might Guy.​

Background Info

Born in Konoha, Lee went to the academy like any other child destined to be a ninja would do. Except there was one problem; Lee could not use ninjutsu or genjutsu in any form. However he tried and tried, he could not muster a single ninjutsu. And even when it came to taijutsu, he had almost no skill. Nevertheless, he became a genin, and joined squad 8, headed by Might Guy. In his squad were Neji Hyuuga, and Tenten. As they progressed through training, Lee was trained specially by Guy Sensei, in the art of taijutsu. He became a taijutsu user, and became highly talented one at that. He was able to move far faster than the average ninja, and his taijutsu was very powerful. During his 14th year, he became chuunin, and since has been practicing his skills.​

From my understanding, the specialization and mastery system mostly only effects elemental jutsus at this point, with the primary specialization allowing you to perform any jutsu with one hand seal, and the secondary specialization allowing you to perform the hand seals much quicker. Other than that, I don't know what any other specialization does at this point, as the system was apparently changed at some point before I joined the RP back in April. I would think that a specialization in Taijutsu would allow you to have quicker reflexes, but that may not be the case.

To specialize in Taijutsu you have to have completed the basic taijutsu field, though.

And specialization doesn't cross with elemental specialization. Although on a Rock Lee bio it is 100x more badass if you just use taijutsu lol

Not a bother. And that's something I'm also unclear on tbh. I've seen people specialize genjutsu to be one hand seals. Ninjutsu I've never seen anyone specialize. So I'm not sure where genjutsu would play in. I think it would count as one of the elemental specialties but I'm not 100% sure lol.

It'd be best to ask in the Q&A thread.
