Honestly this has to be one of the best fights in naruto
Definetly my favorite in part 1 (altough part 1 had alot of good fights such as Naruto vs Neji,Naruto vs Gaara,the whole Zabuza fight and even Shikamaru vs Temari was very intresting)
It was the first time Naruto actually made me go wow

I feel this fight is rly underappreciated here

And it still sticks out to me in the whole Naruto series
Its not the best but I still prefer it over alot of fights in part 2

I agree 100%. It has a lot of taijutsu which you don't see very often. That's my favorite style and it's not really being shown right now in the manga.

It was pretty nice, I liked it. I though he should've won, but they needed Gaara for the plot, and Lee for Tsunade.
Gaara would've got fodderized though if Lee was drunk, or if he was fighting for a certain some one.

a lot of the fights in part one are very interesting because they cant just spam jutsu.
they actually use their shuriken, smoke bombs, etc. its a battle of strategy and its awesome.
like when naruto beats neji by going underground and grabbing him with a shadow clone. so simple. so effective. and so creative.

seriously? all the fights right now are just not enjoyable everyone is f***ing overpowered no one stands a chance against some peopple the rest is fodder bla bla bla back in part 1 everyone was kind of dangerous. if A won against B, and B won against C, A lost to C the fights were really good the only thing that matters now is EMS, Rinnegan, Beast Mode and so on

Yup,this is one of the things I rly dislike about current Naruto
They just pushed the power range between a few characters and the other ones too far
It used to be that evreyone could put up a fight against anyone else but now it seems like one op jutsu and its done for most
