Neji beat Lee numerous times unfortunately Lee would never get the chance to settle the score with him. IMO Neji is just a little bit above Lee

Oh i am much more compassionate than this...

OT: I luv both of them both are my all time faves of manga. I know almost everything about their abilities aswell, as far as manga goes they are equals according to feats by being among greatest taijutsu users despite their age.
Neji has more intellect, occular insight ability, sensory and one hit K.O gentle fist .
Lee has more footspeed, physical strength, larger scale destruction and strong fist.
They are about in the same level, the opponents they beat vary depending on matchups.

Without Intel, Neji wins since Lee won't jump into gates most likely.
The thing is, in canon manga state they both have intel and their fight that "would" happen is all-out so Lee goes gates from start. So Lee takes the cake.

My two favorite characters from part 1 right here. But imma have to give the edge to Neji on this one cause of his advanced offensive and defensive jutsu, and cause his taijutsu is on par with Lee's. But if Lee enters the gates though...

Lee just because of the incredible speed of the Gates.
Neji has the stylistic advantage though seeing as he really just has to wait for Lee to come in and defend. That's probably why he always won in training.

Kinda like comparing Tyson and Foreman. Tyson was clearly a better boxer but one wrong move and Foreman could take his head off.
