Rock Lee & Might Gai will tag team Edo Madara

I know this is a given. But I want to know how successful you think they will be?

Its quite obvious that since Madara needs to be fought using Taijutsu, that Rock Lee and Might Gai will be the ones to fight him. If you look at the last manga page (above), Kishi alludes to this fact, showing only Naruto, Lee and Gai as the only recongnizable shinobi falling towards the Juubi. And Konoha Shinobi where the first to jump (they performed the last Fire Release jutsu).


So............ do you think the Taijutsu Duo will be able to seperate Edo Madara from his connection to the Juubi???

Note: I do understand that Might Gai was knocking on Death's Door. But nevertheless, he IS shown jumping into the hole...

Together with regular taijutsu, they would do pretty well. Adding gates will make it overkill.

I think Kishi will take time to show improvement for ALL of the Konoha Rookies. I also think he has the potential to be better than Gai...
