they could definitely win especially if guy used his afternoon tiger during the 5 second interval and the pain who absorbs that stuff couldnt absorb it cus theres no chakra in it

Jiraiya did kill them because while they were stuck in the Genjutsu he killed them but they were revived by the other Pein.

3 were stabed during the genjutsu, they were brought back and after that he killed one of those same 3 (animal path who summons beasts) in his hidden frog barrier with rasengan.

Jiraiya actually killed four but the Pain that revives the other ones brought them back.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he only defeated three. He then permanently defeated another Pain, but it was one of the original three he had killed.

This is a good thought.

Lee and Guy could easily take down Pain if they take turns attacking him. Once he repels Guy/Lee, then Lee/Guy goes in to attack afterwards.

One on one, Pain definitely wins

I think they could win. I think that's why kishi didn't have them in the fight during the pain invasion arc.
