Maybe they sealed it away and that's the vessel Kara is after in that container, his body that is. They turn his body into a cyborg like Ao and that revives him as a slave to Kara.

I don’t think so but then again, why not. Kara does know a bit about the otsutuskis via their arm symbols. So it could work.
