A little correction, Menma is the true Naruto (the real one, original whatever) trapped inside of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
The AU version of Naruto is actually the evil masked guy, and he has the Yin half of Kyubi sealed inside of him.

This movie isn't a AU so to speak but a genjutsu created by Tobi. Naruto is trapped in a genjutsu that created this alternate world.
