Well In place of chidori he has the rasengan. So losing chidori with his sharingan is no big deal. I feel that he sadly has no purpose left in this fight besides wait and watch like Sakura. He is still a strong ninja, but when you pit him against a opponent like Kaguya. That's a bit too much for him. I would like to see him show what he can do without the sharingan, in a mini fight against Gai after the war. I would like to believe that he is a even stronger fighter now without the use of sharingan.

Kakashi is still a very skilled ninja.. He is still a genius in his own right.. Despite losing the Sharingan, Kakashi still has a wide range of jutsus in his arsenal and is still one of of the most intelligent characters in the series.. Losing the Kamui is definitely a huge step back in terms of power, but he is the son of the White Fang, meaning he can still throw in a great deal of punches to any enemy.. But sad to say that even a genius is still not on the same category to someone who holds the power of the Bijuus and the Sage of the Six Paths, possesses the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the Rinnegan, or even someone who possesses the Strength of a Hundred Seal..
