Some 10,000 took part in the demonstration before it turned violent
CRS riot police initially used tear gas and baton charges to try and restore order, and then came under heavy attack themselves.

An eyewitness said: “Molotov cocktails are landing right on top of them. Police are getting badly hurt.”

Anarchists and other radicals wearing black hoodies and face masks could be seen throwing the improvised bombs, together with bricks and metal bars.

It says they were protesting a new law that makes it easier for people to fire workers and extend working hours.
Yes, they want give businesses more powers along those lines to combat France's high unemployment. It's a model closer to the UK and Germany's. The CGT (a trade union) believes that it will undermine union power though, and see it as favouring businesses over workers, students etc.

The moment a deadly fire bomb is thrown in this case i would approve deadly force you cant reason with lunatics who use fire if its just bricks us tear gas and sound speakers to incompacitate and imprison
