i just wanted to get opinions on this matter. what do u guys think happened to rin? i mean,it does seem that rin died otherwise kakashi would
have met her sometime but where is the proof?
did she really die and was it somehow kakashi's fault or did obito killed her himself to obtain mangekyou?:shrug:

Seeing as how we don't see her during the flashback of the Nine-Tails attack, I'm assuming she died between Obito's "death" and then.

This would explain how Obito (whether it's actually him or someone else in his body) unlocked his MS in time to fight Minato.

If you see it as someone controlling Obito it would make sense, Obito would NEVER willingly kill Rin, but the controller must have done it to unlock his latent power.

The third war wasnt over after Obitos death, she must have died in that war, maybe Zetsu killed her to get Obito to rage.

and died immediately.
Obito got shocked and awakened MS, then he flew away.
