Greetings NB family
This is going to be long but it's worth it. If you don't want to read everything then just read the last segment or two.
So while responding to another thread something came across my mind. Now that Obito and Kakashi have left to the other dimension, it's undeniable that we will witness a fight and learn more about Rins death/why Kakashi killed her. This got me thinking. When Obito left the cave to go be with his friends, Madara told him he'd be back. The boys awakened the MS during this chapter. This is when we learned that the two eyes were linked together in some way. Now lets look at this situation. Doesn't it seem a little fishy? I can't help but to think that Madara played a part in this.
On his way to the battle field where R&K were, Zetsu reports to Obito something about "guinea pigs from the mist" or something to that effect. By the time Obito starts to arrive he see's Rin's dying face, and when he gets there he see's Kakashi with his arm through her chest. In chapter 605(pg.3) the mist ninja says "Shit he got us. After we worked so hard to get it." Then on pg.11 during Obito's rampage, another mist ninja says "At least retrieve the woman. We mustn't let the enemy get her body."
I can't quite draw a perfect conclusion, but if I may pose some question, what is the significance of the above? Was that really Rin that we saw die, or was it some kind of duplicate deployed by Madara in the form of Zetsu? Was it the Mist? What were they up to during this era, and was Madara already controlling the Mizukage? Maybe Rin and Kakashi weren't on a mission, and that is why Minato wasn't present. Perhaps they were attacked. What is Rin's lineage? Could she perhaps possess something unique, or could she possibly been using the young girl look as a facade to gain intel on Konoha.
