Rinnegan vs IT question

Can a rinnegan user resist IT even if the light hits them or do they need to block the light like Sasuke did with his PS ?

Sasuke w/ his Rinnegan is inherently able to resist IT. Susanoo simply allowed him to extend that resistance to others.

Susano'o was for Naruto (and others) only. You don't need anything but the eye itself.

Although its reasonable to think it was only to extend it to others, its also reasonable to say its necessary added protection.

With that being said, I conclude that yes he needs Susano'o. Susano'o is what blocks the light.

Sharingan has already shown it cannot see through instense lighting so I dont think it blocks the physical light coming from the moon. Thats what Susano'o was specifically stated for.

Sasuke's Rinnegan is immune to IT. I dont know about the other Rinnegan. But given that Hagoromo was involved in Sasuke's Rinnegan awakening I think all Rinnegan are immune to IT.

IT's light effects you when it touches you, not when you see the light. That is something a lot of people seem to misunderstand. The Rinnegan simply makes you immune to the effects of the light touching you.

That is why even Blind/Unconscious people were effected.

Thats not true. The light pierces even the shadows no matter what you still see it.

I know this, my point was that the light effects you when it touches you, not when you see the light. So the only way to avoid it is to ward/evade the Lights effects which only the RInnegan, Kamui, and Yata Mirror can do.

I would agree with this. There's no reason an eye would be able to create a resistance but wouldn't have that resistance itself.

True my argument is he has only one rinnegan so would it affect his other eye? it would make sense since basically all of that gift is in his left eye so his right is still susceptible but again noone will ever know nor does it matter sasuke used susanoo they're saved hooray!
