Rinnegan or rikudo chakra are not neccesary for PS

This is not about whether PS can be used without EMS or not, just Rinnegan/Rikudo chakra, because apparenly some people actually think the rinnegan has something to do with it.
When Madara uses PS Onoki recalls his battle with Madara when he was younger and and asks Madara if he held back during their fight. Madara confirms it.
Note that Onoki didn't ask that when Madara used his legged Susanoo army, but only after seeing PS.

Before using PS again, Madara mentions that it is said that anyone who has seen it dies, which implies he used it during his life.

Only and last exceptional case was kakashi.he unlocked PS because he received MS and rikodou chakra from Obito.

Itachi and Shusui getting PS makes a lot of sense through this logic.

Nice explanation, but it was quite a bit obvious. Rinnegan is a completely separate power from EMS (from which Susanoo roots) and Rikodou chakra only empowers Susanoo, not necessary for its manifestation.

i agree, rinnegan and rikudo chakra aren't necessary to activate PS for healthy uchihas, BUT the rikudo chakra was very necessary to Kakashi or the PS would have destroyed him.
