If Nagato was sealed it's because he was a proficient user enough for those blessed eyes.And he was unlucky enough that day to face a shinobi who is above his level(aka Itachi).So the fact that he was sealed reflects poorly on his Image as a shinobi but no on the eyes he possessed.

Thanks for pointing that out, I kinda worded it wrong, thank you kind sir.

But my point is, that Tsukiyomi only works on one person, unlike the Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant that Jiraiya used.

And because if using the paths, it would most likely be useless against the rinnegan.

You might be right about that, but for the wrong reason. Since Pain are practically dead bodies, they don't feel any Pain and obviously have no living mind that could be destroyed. Normal Genjutsu still works, though.

Yet using the paths instead of fighting by yourself brings other disadvantages.

distractions= itachi distracted
itachi distracted = chakra disruption
chakra disruption= broken genjutsu

What does Sharingun have susunno, amutrasu, copy people ninjutsu ( however even if you do, you must have a lot off chakra which tell now only one uchiha has shown an incredable amount MADARA..... Who also stopped using his EMS which everyone over hyped so badly and started using the ReNningun.

Okay, first:
Madara's meteorite was actually Chibaku Tensei. He was simply controlling it towards the ground.
With Rinnegan you can also absorb every chakra based jutsu ever, repel physical and jutsu-based attacks, resurrect the dead completely, remove people's minds from their body and absorb it, do that passing-judgement-thing, control other bodies and animals, and I'm still not sure if I remembered it all.
In addition, I don't believe we've seen the full power of Rinnegan yet.

that's wrong jiraiya caught three paths with genjutsu but the others weren't effected. the other three being uneffected means real nagato is unaffected as well. stop calling people as fanboys you are the only actual fanboy here

I don't really know what to reply here, I had really forgotten about this thread a long time ago (more like 1-2h)

1) Are you thinking i'm a Nagato fanboy, well, im not.

2) ''if one body is cought so and nagato himself.'' I doubt it, Nagato isn't invulnerable to genjutsu, but while it's used against the paths, they don't affect Nagato.

3) Just decided to add this as a little bonus, I think chibaku tensei sucks, it takes WAY too long to be used efficently.

Who says Rinnegan can't absorb Susano'o?
Pain did after all absorb Naruto's Sage Mode (which isn't even chakra, but natural energy), and last time I checked Susano'o was also chakra based (with that violet aura it's pretty hard to miss it), ->Rinnegan CAN absorb it.

Also, about Rasen Shuriken:
Rasengan is taking jutsu to the ultimate of Shape Manipulation, and when completing it with Fuuton, Naruto did something that was believed to not be possible, as not even Minato had been able to do it. The part where he throws it takes it even further, which makes it an S-ranked Ninjutsu, the highest there is.

Ok, everybody says Rinnegan is strongest dojutsu ever because Rikudou was have it. Even "tobi" and Madara all life time spend for these eyes. But I dont understand why whese eyes is call strongest and everybody want to have it? I mean really its nothing special, lets see what Rinnegan has: you can see chakra and have three special jutsu: Banshoun Tein(this one i dont know how exatly write but what ever),Shinra Tensei and most overpowered jutsu ever Chibaku Tensei........ And....... Oh yeah you can do Six Paths of Pain stuff.... And these five abilities together is calling strongest dojutsu ever???? I dont think so. Now lets see what Sharingan got. With Sharingan you can see chakra to but not so clearly like Rinnegan but thats dont make you stronger if you can see it a little better. Second you can copy every jutsu you want and see your oponents moves. If you get Mangekyou you get three special abilities - Tsukuyomi,Amaterasu,Sussano. And most of the best is what these abilities have not one form like Chibaku fos example, with Tsukuyomi you can do anything you want its ultimate genjutsu with it you can do every genjutsu in world. Amaterasu to has alot forms you can attack directly or create shield to protect you. Susanoo has alot more tricks - Madara's Meteorite,Sword Of Totsuka, Yata Mirror, Yasaka Magatama (Sasuke's Susanoo jutsu names dont know) and we will see alot more in future. EMS even do these jutsu alot stronger and probably give you even more tricks. Sharingan can control Kyuubi - Rinnegan cannot. So why Rinnegan is calling strongest? It doesnt make you stronger if you born first of all.

PS.: The "dragon jutsu" that summoned Gedo Mazou and incapacitated Nagato(when Nagato used it agaisnt Hanzo) would work agaisn't Susano'o, as Yamata's Shield only defensive power is to counter Elemental jutsus, and that dragon isn't one of them.
