orochimaru wanted sasuke's body not for ems, but the sharingan in general. what would madara be doing with a second pair of rinnegan?
@bold you need senju dna to awaken rinnegan if you dont have it you're just a another uchiha.

Ask yourself why Oro wanted Sasuke's body. Did Kabuto not state he and Oro hypothesized that sharingan evolved into Rinnegan?

How am I supposed to know? All I discerned from this chapter is that Madara wants to do it. Why he wants to remains to be seen.

Of course you need Senju DNA; you also need to be an Uchiha with sharingan so my point still stands.

Well researched. I do agree but I'd find it somewhat odd for Sasuke to challenge Madara at his current level. Which is why the Rinnegan, despite my holding no interest in Sasuke basically becoming a carbon copy of Madara, seems like an easy boon for Sasuke at this point. How do you see the fight proceeding from here?

I see Sasuke reaching the full potential of the ems. I expect him to survive the stabbing using Izanagi, and try to save Madara by putting him under Izanami. Beyond that, I expect new ocular powers.

BlinkST aren't you one who believes Sasuke will achieve Sage mode? If so you saying Sasuke is Naruto's opposite would negate that theory, since Sage mode would give him physical energy and a stronger life force, both which Naruto has. The Uchiha have the eyes, Sasuke learning Sage mode would give him the body too of Rikudo in sense. Though I would like for Sasuke to awaken his ancestor dojutsu, I don't mind if it's the Rinnegan.
