Why do people keep saying there was an error. The animators did this on purpose.I think Madara was learning how to perfectly switch to rinnegan or use EMS techniques while having rinnegan. Don't believe me, then go to the episode and look at around 07:20, when Madara is fighting in that mist, you will notice that Madara had his rinnegan activated.

i wasn't really an error, it just didn't follow with the manga how he revealed his Rinnegan instead of just using it on and off.
