No, that's why he said he lost. His goal was to beat him, and he can't do it.

Theoretically maybe, but in the manga, they're equal even if it doesn't seem that way to the reader.

Considering Naruto fought way more than Sasuke during the war. Expended an unfathomable amount of chakra just to keep the Shinobi Alliance Fodder from biting the dust, then went on to do the majority of the fighting against Kaguya....and still managed a tie with Sasuke when he was enhanced by 9 bijuu.

I can safely say, without bias that Naruto would more than likely take the win if they were both fresh.

Don't forget the fact that Sasuke won't always have access to the bijuu while Naruto can always just take a shit ton of nature energy.

RSM seemed way more impressive (at least in combat) than the Rinnegan, particularly against Madara/Kaguya. Sasuke was more of a support.

Even against Naruto, Sasuke only really used his Rinnegan to manipulate Bijuu power; all his feats (Rinnegan Genjutsu on all Nine Bijuu, Chibaku Tensei on all Nine Bijuu, Ultimate Susano'o using Bijuu chakra) were used to give him the raw power to go head-to-head with Naruto.

Naruto can enter Ashura Mode any time, simply by gathering huge amounts of Natural Energy while in his regular Bijuu Mode. In other words, he can quickly harness the power that Sasuke needed to go to extremes to obtain.

The Rinnegan has all kinds of insane powers that RSM will never have; it can open portals to dimensions, cast Genjutsu, teleport the user, revive the dead, create meteors/moons, and absorb chakra. However, as far as who would win in a fight.. I'd say RSM is superior.

That was the case between Madara and Hashirama, too. Madara needed to use Genjutsu on Kurama in order to go head-to-head with Hashirama, and was still overpowered by him in the end. All of Madara's unique EMS abilities were useless against the raw power of Senjutsu + Mokuton and Hashirama's godly chakra reserves.

I agree with you 100%. When you consider the fact you have to combine Indra (eye power) chakra and Asura (body power) chakra to obtain the rinnegan proves the rinnegan was original Sage's only power.
