Rinnegan + EMS Madara is stronger than Hashirama

Hashirama and Madara were abouts equal, but Madara surpassed him after he "gained his abilities", which somehow is related to his rinnegan, which he "awakened shortly before his death".

Could be, but we STILL don't know the extent of Hashirama's power. Every time we think we have heard enough he ends up being even stronger. But Madara is not Madara anymore, he is a mix of Hashirama and Madara. I wouldn't consider this breed Madara anymore just like a Liger is no longer a tiger or a lion.

he's not a fusion of the two. it's just madara with the same power as hashirama's power.

I kind of agree, but I think we must consider Madara's state when he awakened his Rinnegan.

A prime Madara with EMS + Rinnegan is another story, but he clearly stated that he awakened his eyes just before his death, he couldn't have been that healthy. :shrug:

So I guess I'll still give the match to Hashi.

Just like what Rei said. We're not talking about edo madara here. The manga didn't even stated what Hashirama can do and what powers he have. WHAT IF he has something more powerful than Doujutsus that we don't know? + Hashirama knows his powers, there's no way that a great ninja like him doesn't know how his jutsus works.

I think many people are overlooking Hashirama's strength and abilities because they get to see Madara battle.

Just wait if ever Kishi decides or is planning to show a flashback of the battle between Hashirama and Madara.

Hashirama beat EM Madara who had the Kyuubi! Just because he has the Rinnegan does not mean he surpasses him.

We can't really determine that but I think Hashirama is still better.

Just the fact that Orochimaru, Danzo, Madara, and the Zetsu army made use of Hashirama's cells says a lot about his POWER and STRENGTH

- The gravitational ability ( allows him to repell hashirama's physical attacks )
-The chakra absorbtion ability ( absorbing his flower world and and tree world chakras ).

~and heres my predictions on some of the rest of the manga/anime.

Itachi and sasuke meet. Talk and if itachi convinces sasukem they will probably try to stop the edo tensi finding kabuto. Jugo and Suigetsu. They'll give sasukee the scroll (probably giving him a way to get rinnegan which some idiot brought up ( that sasuke will get rinnegan:flaw im not sure that he will but theres my prediction for it)
